What do you use for a .Max file?
Or something equally important, how do you use a .max file like a save file?Post #4382 · Publicado en 2008-10-06 10:01:23am Hace 17.2 años

yeah they should have had some Red DDR X songs instead we got Sn2 red songs and they need to add more normale songs then licens songs
There are five boss songs new to DDR X in this game. Also, there are only 2 fewer KO's new to DDR X than there are licenses if you count the X-edits as licenses.Post #4384 · Publicado en 2008-10-06 10:24:26am Hace 17.2 años

There WERE DDR X 'red' songs, except they weren't colored red. They were On the Break, on the bounce, Trigger, Horatio, and SABER WING (AKIRA ISHIHARA Headshot Remix). They were colored red only on FINAL, EXTRA, and ENCORE EXTRA STAGE, and it depended on which of those songs were unlocked. Once all 7 songs (including the Plutos) were unlocked, it's Pluto for FINAL, SABER WING Headshot for EXTRA, and Pluto Relinquish for ENCORE EXTRA (as defaults).Post #4385 · Publicado en 2008-10-06 11:42:12am Hace 17.2 años

However, playing any boss song will still allow you to get the Extra Stage and Encore Extra Stage.

That worked for FINAL, but I didn't know it worked for EXTRA and ENCORE EXTRA. So basically I can do, say, On The Break, Horatio, on the bounce as FINAL, EXTRA, and ENCORE EXTRA?Post #4387 · Publicado en 2008-10-06 12:05:23pm Hace 17.2 años

It would make sense to break the combo if freezes actually added to combo... but in this case, I think it is uncalled for.

I think that this is due to a programming error, since OKs for shock arrows do increase the combo and NGs on shock arrows break the combo...it seems the neglected the effects of NG..
From the beta test videos it appears that Freeze NGs do not break combos.

i dont think its any kind of error, i think its something new. people freaked out and thought misses not taking away DP was an error on extreme US too, and it turned out to be a new grading system, and it evolved into what we know now.

I think this may actually be an error considering the ac version didn't have that (as far as I know) The arcade versions have more updated engines than the CS versions, so I would figure the X AC beta is farther along engine-wise than X US CS.

Having dropped freezes break your combo means that "Perfect Full Combo" won't appear if you get all perfects/marvelous and an NG. That's the one reason I like the idea.

Nice to see I'm not the only one who think that missing a freeze = ending you're combo is not a bad idea.Post #4396 · Publicado en 2008-10-06 01:41:19pm Hace 17.2 años

thats the way i see it too. its kind of a step up from ITG not awarding FFC and FEC if you let go of a hold.

Nice to see I'm not the only one who think that missing a freeze = ending you're combo is not a bad idea.If it was like that from the start, no one woulda noticed. But either way, I'm fine with it.

That wouldn't be an error, per se, just the inability to score the same judgement two different ways (breaking your combo vs not breaking your combo). Then what they should do is score shock arrows a la ITG mines (penalty for hitting it, no extra points for avoiding it) and leave freeze arrows the way they were.

And...the sales figures have come in!
Week 1: 9,488
Week 2: 11,718
Compared to SuperNOVA2's...
Week 1: 9,316
Week 2: 7,052.
So the game is selling moderately better than SN2 did...Which is a bit surprising to me considering that you'd think less people would be interested in a PS2 game now than a year ago.
