Z-I-v Simfile Tournament of Immortals 6 [Sankyuu For Praying]

蟲の棲む処 comes from BeatStream アニムトライヴ, and I found it by looking on YouTube for new BEMANI songs - stuff from jubeat prop, Qubell, RB VOLZZA (2), and so on. I wasn't expecting BeatStream アニムトライヴ to have anything, but to my surprise it did! Will this be enough to beat Oni? ...Maybe. Well I feel better about this one than the last time I faced Oni so... fingers crossed!

As soon as I first heard this song, I knew it would've made for a great song to step. It just works, I don't know how else to put it. As for the steps, well... I'd say I was inspired by the earlier boss songs, or the difficult songs in general, in DDR canon. I figured I'd take a similar approach to what you might've found in DDRMAX2 or, dare I say, EXTREME. Lots of twisting, lots of jumps, lots of freeze. Some crossover action takes place as well, as well as some naughty intentional doublesteps in a select few spots. Keep a close watch on your footing, because you will end up getting tripped up if you step wildly or doublestep where it's not intended.
The ending contains a bit of an Easter egg, ehehe...

Also, I forgot that DMAxel had stepped this song a bit ago. Didn't realize this until halfway through making the simfile. I hope this isn't a problem, Axel. ♥u

...okay, I wish "time" wasn't yet. This is still sort of beta. The stepcharts are fine, but if you look in the .sm and .ssc there's a background sequence. Unfortunately, I cannot include it right now as one of the movies isn't finished. :c (You can redownload it when it is, right?...)

I hastily entered this tournament thinking I'd get around 10 points like I always do. However, I messed up my qualifier bigtime and got pitted directly with seed #1, making me sort of a nervous wreck because it's very hard for, say, seeds that have 5 points to get past seeds that have 40+ points. I scrutinized the patterns for heavy and standard really carefully as well but I'm scared it's not enough. I had so much more ideas for another simfile but I lost interest and by the time Saturday hit it was too late so I really am chancing it here. I really hope I at least get some points this time because I spent about 12 hours on this spread across a week trying to make sure heavy and challenge is good. I really really don't want all of this work to end up with null points (especially since this is competing with two rock songs; it's as childish as the characters in the banner - all of the gorey deaths that happen to them many times is!!).

So yeah. Here's yet another Simfile Shuffle rehash. I love this song to death (it just loses to Rock the Club) but the charts that the person that received it (The Legendary DJXYZ) made for it;


...I don't really love, so I went out of my way to give this song the potential it deserved. This song has many crossovers (but fortunately not as janky as Road to G6). dips into some half turns and then eventually two spins at the end of the song. Challenge also has 4-note 24th trills so watch out. (But hey, you've all certainly passed harder by now. :P)

Hopefully by tomorrow or the next day I can get the last background movie done. I really hope I did this song justice and you see it the same way I do, I playtested this many many times.

There may be a cheat code for happiness, but there isn't one for this scrub me to finally "do it right". Desperate times call for desperate measures, so I figured I'd go for a Japanese Vocaloid song, and one whose music video caught my attention with the focus on arrow patterns flashing on-screen on-beat with the music. Project DIVA anyone?

I tried my best to do the charts to the arrows supposedly "sung" in the song itself (and shown in the music video), but I realized there'd be a bit of double stepping if I didn't pattern them right. I feel this may be forgivable on lower difficulties (where it's mainly quarter notes), but something had to give on & . Definitely happy that just about all of the dictated arrows from the song/video can be patterned for the right foot to do on SM/ITG, when coupled with 8th notes or 16th gallops (for the sake of difficulty) for the left foot to do. Anyways, enjoy! Please do, I pulled an all-nighter just to get this done at the last minute.

Well, wasn't this late? I had this and one other song choice lined up initially, but ended up working on this one exclusively due to my week being busier than usual. This is an attempt at making a boss(?) file, and seeing as both and charts are old-scale 10s then I've definitely ramped up the difficulty on this one. contains shock arrows and rolls.
