siberite is a little generic, but it's good nevertheless. I like it, as well as its chart. Does anybody else notice the resemblance to TENSHI? Or is that just me?

I like that and want to play it!

I hope this forms a pattern where:
- they preview the rest of the (in-house?) announced artists each for a week
- and they keep getting better every time.

i'm getting the impression that "shock arrow charts must be shitty" since that's what people usually hold on to.
rarely do i see expressing positive opinion on SA charts in general, so that's where i'm coming from.

like seriously, when do you ever see people say "inb4 good shock arrow challenge chart"?

I guess I am implying that I do not like the use of shock arrows at all. The whole 4 arrow use of them is kind of lazy and uncreative. Konami could have just stole the mine gimmick from ITG and creatively placed them like a lot of custom ITG simfiles that use them are placed. Ill admit though, the SA challenge charts have become more tasteful over the years, but still do not care for them.

Shock arrow charts have improved since their introduction in DDR X (Don't forget about the old Horatio chart). However I think if they stopped using them, not many people would notice, care enough to complain about them missing.

No. They've done it since the beginning of the series. The first time this happened was when PARANOiA MAX ~DIRTY MIX~ appeared in 1st Mix CS.

I don't think that count as a preview because DDR 2nd mix AC (and therefore, PARANOiA MAX ~DIRTY MIX~) was released before DDR 1st mix CS, so the "preview" song already existed in that moment.

I believe the phrase you're looking for is slowed down. But yeah, I hear the dj TAKA-ness in that song. I guess time will tell whether or not it's an alias of his.
