I managed to pass Trip Machine Pheonix's challenge chart today with an A as my second attempt in ages (which honestly I thought I did horrible), yet I could only do a B yesterday on Expert. What does that tell you, Konami?

I also got 76 perfects on Captivate, managed around a 970, XXX on Arrabbiata, and was able to black flag Blind Justice and Poseidon.

Quite happy about getting these two in the same day, despite the crappy MA.

...and here are the scores that show up on double for me when I play that song for the moment, since .jp players have absolutely no interest in this song on double anymore it seems and I was the first one to PFC it on X2 (until someone else gets off their *ss to bother with it). The three scores from top to bottom are : Personal Best, Machine Best, eAmuse Best for those that have never seen this on X or X2 before



Yesterday I also managed to FC the Replicant D Course on normal (not Expert), but that may be a kind of hum-haw accomplishment to some.

You never know. We still don't know what's happening with the next version of DDR. Konami might end up switching it all around. They might end up doing something like what they did with X and continue the franchise, but in a different way, if you know what I mean. Like, how DDR X became "urbanized", they might change the theme AGAIN and make it sorta "tough", like the theme is inside a volcano or something (hey, this would be awesome).

And... voila. Max (period). And every other Max song & boss song to exist. Yes, even the ones from HP and Universe / Ultramix series.

I know. This is never going to happen. But if they bring ONE boss song to the arcade that wasn't in the arcade before, it's gonna be Max (period).

To stay on topic, I'm actually getting a DDR mat for Chanukah in a few days. I can finally compete for AAAs on the console, starting with DDR Extreme and the power unlock I received from the mission mode.

eh I finally played Euromix 2 today. seems like my disc is a bit damaged, so I am going to try to clean it and install it again because the game liked to freeze during Hypnotic Crisis and some other song. I did get two close AAA's today...

@Wing : Nice FC on Max300. More a AA to me (no offence), which is still great. DDR version keep me confused with grades. This reminds me Euromix1 where FC = AAA, lol.

@seishinbyou : Oh whoa, some good AAA here. Do you have some "easy" one left ? Can you go to 1200 ?
Also same question that i asked to Dr.D, do you have plan to finish some old mix ? Or Extreme maybe ?

I played a lot of "new" songs to complete my Zenius (my score tracker lol) a bit.
A lot of them was sightreaded or almost (almost = i might have saw/play the chart on keyboard in the past 1-24 months).
Sure i played some old or new that i already played too.

AAA#67 -Freeway Shuffle- 43p

This AAA is for a friend, Usaginou/Usu. He told me that he loved the chart because of the drills and stuff
Rated as a 10 on X. Should be at least a 11 imo.
I saw the rating on X2, it's a 12 lol.
Played it 3 times the same day to get it, not in the same set (first time playing it ever). I was pretty happy after getting this one.
The chart is not bad. Not as good as this one (This one is really great. Also the hand at 1:37 is so epic that i could watch it 50 times in a row) but the ddr chart was enjoyable.
Funny fact, i tried the later and got the first great on the first arrows. I rofl'd and a friend who was watching me did the same.
Tried an other time maybe 1h after, got the first great on the first arrow again :3

First time playing it on pad, might be sightreaded too. Nice surprise
Tried the remix right after, i got 30p/4g, same conditions.

AAA#69 -Bad Routine- 37p NoBar

69 isn't a bad routine imo but that's an other story lol.
I like this song/chart. I play it at least once every weekend that i go to the arcade (i won't now that i AAA'd it).
No bar tries like this relaxs me a bit even if i try to get the clean AAA.
That was also one of the song that i was trying to get no bar.
Previous score (maybe the past weekend or the one before) was 31p/1g.
So yes, i get rid of one flag, but...

Flagged 3 times in a row out of 4 tries O_o (best was 26p/1g and considering my usual MA, that's good.)
First try was a bit random, played with someone, got one great before all the jump part. Finished nobar and was still at one (on many song that i have flagged/2greats i finish nobar if i get a single great).
I decide to try it again on my next token (ie 2min after). I simply True Blackflaged it xD (last jump is a 16th note lol).
I was like "Owwwwwwww you must be kidding right ?". A friend laughed so much at my great ahaha.
Well... let's try a 3rd time then. Got one great again, meh.
I decided to finish my token on this song ahah so 4th try. Got one early, went nobar and finished with 3.
True story lol (i might upload a mixed picture with all those tries soon).

So, AAA count +3, flag count +4 (+5-1) (because i managed to get rid of one, bad routine).

My flag count is getting worst and worst. I'll make a list of this. But trying to fix a lot of flags (when you have also MANY other song to play for the first time or improve) isn't funny. It's also hellish sometimes.
I sometimes fix one but get a lot of other ones on the other hand (like this weekend).

@Panstyle - Nice accomplishments For my 100th AAA I think I want to surprise my youtube audience... I just am not sure in what way yet. I have an idea, but time needs to work out in my favor as I am at 97 AAA's right now. It wont be a MAX song, but I will try my best to make the 100th AAA something good.

Yes... I am now at 97 Arcade AAA's now. I just put in EuroMIX 2... A mix I have not played in over YEARS because the only one I ever played was oddly enough located at Six Flags Great America for half a year. Playing EuroMIX 2 is... odd... Its nice having a change of pace though. Here are the three I got so far on this mix...

@ PanStyle: Here in my country there are people much better than me, I'm like the "average" to call it that. Unfortunately, are only concerned with the vast majority to get the PFC and nothing else, no interest beyond the record of PFC

There is only DDR X, I have hope you get a x2 but without e-amuse MMMMMMMMM, better wait for the unlock code if not terminate boring.

Hope to get to the end of December to return to play DDR X again and post more records.

@ Dr. D: could you upload the edit of tracers (ask for the second time xD) to play in ddr x

Well... I did it. I have 100 DDR arcade AAA's now. I did in fact make number 100 a "special" song to AAA so that's great news. I think I might make a separate shoutout video, or include it in the video I will upload. AAA 98 is actually very stupid... So I will just say it. It's The 7 Jump. 99 I will keep secret until I finish making the video (because its personally one of my favorite songs on DDR) as well as number 100. I am so happy right now

Alright I uploaded all the files I have for DDR X edits. I apologize because this is not organized at all. The good news is that I'm pretty sure The Beginning edit is in one of these files (probably from 2009) and plus you are getting plenty of other edits. Some by me and others from other people like DARQS. The bad news is like I said, its not organized at all and Im not sure what file is what so you might need to try several.

Anyone can use these edits if you have access to a DDR X or X2 with usb slots. Make sure the folder is call DDR_EDIT and the file(s) are ending in the correct region.

PanStyle: Free way shuffle oni is a fin chart. Congrats. btw did you see my WR on it a few pages back? Anyways as for my next challenges... I have already finshed 6th-8th mix including the exclusives. I know I will get more AAA's from 3rd-5th from time to time but as for finishing them up I'd say its nearly impossible for me do to some songs. I'm no DJ Sterf I have 2 left on Euro mix 2 that I'm sure I can nab in the near future. I might decide to seriously take up doubles if I get board playing singles on X2. Also I probably have many score that are not correct on my tracker. After I PFC a song I rarely go back to update if I improved the MA. hell, many songs from extreme on SN I never even put a MA in them cause when I AAAed them it wasnt on SN2 or higher. One day I'd love to sit down and update everything but for now the idea is too overwhelming. P.S. I'll update hades as soon as I PFC it haha

98 was just a filler, but it counts . I wanted to AAA Young Forever because its one of my favorite songs on DDR. I made it the 99th on purpose and Flash in the Night the 100th because of the difficulty. I gave a few shoutouts to some users on here in the 100th AAA video... The few I remember off the top of my head is PanStyle, SilentType, Dr.D and Al2k4. I want to personally thank everyone though for supporting me as I love making the videos and glad there is a audience that watches them!

I will most likely not upload a new video of a AAA until next year sadly. I am going back home and wont be able to go back and play. I might go back once if the Den is open but if it isn't it just won't happen. I will have one more chance to play before I leave College for Winter Break so if I cant get any more then that's it for a while sadly...
