I really wish that this game will rely on the KOs and not on the stupid American licenses... unless they have songs won at a contest like Eternus and Until Forever.

Some of the American licenses are actually good, IMHO. The only ones I actually like were Sandstorm, Dance Dance, I Like To Move It, and Silence (Airscape Remix). When I first picked up EX2, I was surprised when As The Rush Comes was on it (thinking it was an American license), until I learned it was a Dancemania licensed song (from Dancemania EX7).

But seriously, the licensed content is what sells the games to the mainstream, although I'm appalled by some of the choices made in SN1 US & SN2 US. I was surprised we even got FRECKLES and ANGELUS, but then again the anime those songs appeared in ("Rurouni Kenshin" and "InuYasha", respectively) were popular here.

For the unfamiliar (I assume almost no one here), the FRECKLES from "Rurouni Kenshin" is NOT the one used in DDR. That one is the original version by Judy & Mary.

Well yeah... I like some of the American licenses especially the ones included on DDRMAX US. and Can't Stop The Rain(it has good steps) then the rest are plain stupid...

What difference does that make? If you're going to be technical, then no, it is actually an American song, created by American DJ's, not a Dancemania song.

It's an American license that was picked up for Dancemania, like many, many songs on the Dancemania series. Dancemania's in-house artists only cover/remix a portion of the songs on the albums.

The licenses on the North American games are usually amazing and definitely blow the Japanese licenses out of the water. Step-wise, not so much. But I always look forward to the licensed content on North American DDR games.

A good chart and a good song are different things. For example, I like Temperature's steps, but I don't actually like the song, I just like it as a DDR song.

The one in bold was originally by a KO artist, and the ones in italics suck.

I'm not a big fan of "popular" songs, a definition of which fits famous licenses, so I couldn't list very many that I really like. Can't Stop the Rain and Shivers are the only PS2 licenses that come to mind.

I just hope that we won't get songs from Sean Paul or Ashley Tisdale. I just hate what they do.

I would like to see another song from Silvertear, if it is possible. I just love doing So Deep (Perfect Sphere Remix)! Although I know they won't put that song in the new mix as it was already in the DDRMAX2 mix.

I really hope they dont put in Soulja Boy, or anything kiddish like Jonas Bros or NBB

They only have one song, so it would have to be either the original version of SO DEEP, or the Wire Remix.

Also, My Love, by Justin Timberlake? That song would be acceptable only if they chose the Paul Oakenfold remix.
