He could be saying that simply because X2 CS isn't in progress, since the AC version just started its first unlock event. Before this gets off topic, I'm just going to say that since the release of DDR X2 AC, I have been becoming happier and happier and happier and happier.

Indeed, it was a mistake to release CS X only a month after the AC game. But then again, it was a mistake to release the American CS X months before the arcade machine when it revealed just about every secret anyway

Maybe if were lucky Tokyo Evolved will be thrown in there somewhere. I figured since they made an evolved boss song for the AC the older Evolved songs would be in there somwhere.

Btw, do anyone know how many songs are present on X2 right now ?
It's something that i thinking about since few days because this mix seems huge O_o
Also, any news of Mei ? I know Pie said that it will be on X2 but no other information ? (unlock method ? picture? Rating?)

seeing the other evolved songs would be cool. isnt there also an osaka evolved as well?
also, i feel like we would have seen 777 before 888, given the similarities in the names and 777 being a IIDX crossover and 888 being "new".

There are 69 new songs so far. There are a few rumored songs that were name-dropped by Konami employees prior to release, but Gold Rush is the only one they've shown evidence of. When that unlocks, it'll be the 70th.
There are also 6 revivals which have new music, or completely new charts. Most people don't seem to count them as being new, but some of them show up in the "X2" folder of the song select screen.

I would like Osaka for competions sake, but its a pretty awefull song.

I thought osaka EVOLVED is better; roppongi EVOLVED being the best. tokyoEVOLVED and L.A. EVOLVED are just plain noise to me.

osakaEVOLVED would be listenable if it didn't have the crappy drum loops and was just piano. But then it wouldn't fit in DDR.
Also I rather like tokyoEVOLVED, so as a result obv like L.A. EVOLVED because it's tE Ver.D.

I've always hoped osakaEVOLVED would end up on IIDX, but since they've killed off DDR Crossovers the last few styles it probably won't
