If unlocks were coming, they most likely wouldn't be coming until 3:00 PM JST today. Tohoku was only discovered early in the day because it was technically never completely locked, it just wasn't accessible until London Evolved was finally made available that morning.
...Must stay up until 2 am (EDT)...Where did you get 3:00 pm from? Is it the time previous unlocks were revealed? I don't recall having to stay up waiting for previous unlocks, unless my memory is just terrible.

In response to the last page, most game centers actually open at 10:00am. It is actually pretty rare for an arcade to open before that and some don't even open until 11. They all tend to be open until really late, though

Oh. Thanks for the info.
Well, looks like there's nothing coming for now anyways. Looks like we'll have to wait.

To me, Tohoku EVOLVED is the MAX. (period) of the modern era. Like MAX. (period) did at the time, Tohoku EVOLVED has some elements that we've never seen in DDR charts.
Oh hey there Pluto Relinquish how're ya doing? V:

Pluto Relinquish was at a constant 400 at the beginning, but in Tohoku, it sped up for only two beats before the first arrow.

Not to mention the previously unsurpassed 680 bpm reading speed and the record for scrolling speed at 1020 bpm...and an EVIL last jump that's random every time.
Post #4348 · Posted at 2012-06-07 08:21:19am 12.2 years ago
so basically Pluto Relinquish is relatively self explanatory compared to Tohoku EVOLVED
given that high 680 reading speed in the middle & 1020 scrolling speed @ the end, Tohoku EVOLVED is pretty beast

And just how can Flower and Tohoku EVOLVED both be 17s? If Flower is a 17 then Tohoku EVOLVED is a 19 and Valkyrie Dimension is a 21.

Flower is overrated, but I can easily see it passing as an ITG 11. It's a low 17.
Tohoku Evolved can't really be rated on the ITG scale because it uses gimmicks that ITG has never used. It's very comparable to Valkyrie dimension, and like it, should be rated a low 18.
I still believe that Valkyrie dimension would have deserved a 17 rating had it not been for its gimmicks, EES exclusiveness, and "infamous" label as the True Final Boss of DDR X2. Tohoku Evolved is almost identical in this regard, but lacks the "True Final Boss" label (as far as we know), so I can see where the 17 rating came from.
(Valkyrie dimension is definitely a 19 with or without gimmicks. That crazy 480 bpm stream + ridiculous overspam of Tell jumps that well surpass those of NGO + crossovers even faster than those of HDV could pass for a low or even mid 20. Vd Double deserves a flat 19 though because it doesn't have nearly as much crazy stuff as Single, although it's just enough to push it past 18.)

Some or all of the three missing songs are probably going to be from some kind of crossover event, if there isn't another hidden final boss lurking in the shadows

Oh! I will check. It's still imposible to know with YouTube if New York EVOLVED and London EVOLED will show their A versions on this OST. But it's really possible.

I still think they're Extra Stages. Crossovers are on the second disc, and Let's Get Away is kind of the theme song of DDR I.

they're already on the 2ndMIX side, I don't see any reason to include them again. And there's more than 3 remixes of 2ndMIX songs anyway.
