If Emera's only a 17, there's /some/ hope they didn't butcher it; 17-footers in general aren't too bad anymore (ever since RDA, really), aside from specific instances of less than stellar ones.

On the other hand of things, everyone's hoping for a 16 or 17 from Start a New Day, but have you listened to it? How could it possibly support a 16 or 17? It's borderline overcharted for a 15!

I've gotta say, I am relieved that Emera isn't an 18. I was worried they were gonna try to stuff it with things that shouldn't be there. They seem to like to do that. Fingers crossed we've got a good one.
Also, for SaND, I think a 16 can be done, but it has to be carefully done. It's something that can very easily be thrown out of whack. The King Of Wishful Thinking here thinks that Konami has the ability to do it justice. Fingers still crossed.

I would really like for Start a New Day to be good, I didn't expect to love that song at first, so I don't want an iffy chart to spoil things.

@wrsw That's what has me worried, the chart itself is a bit overstepped at times so I don't see how a chart pans out to be good. I'm just crossing my fingers at this point.

Come to Life - is fantastic, one of the best 18 IMO

It's not their worst overstep by a longshot; it's more a 'not sure if every step has a corresponding beat to follow' kind of thing.

Compared to say, Astrogazer's very blatantly not there 24ths, or Come to Life's mostly blatantly not there 16ths.

Anyway, Come To Life looks fun but painful. For some reason, that up-right-right-right-up 16th pattern really stands out to me. The streams are mostly reasonable, except for the occasional crossover. 12th afronova seems rude, but doable. I would enjoy this chart. Problem is, I'm a gamer, not an athelete, and I don't have the stamina to pass a 16.

Emera looks iffy, especially towards the end, but I think they didn't completely butcher it, so :V

Okay, just watched Emera.

I don't like some of those 16th patterns. Weird footwork in areas. Ultimately, looks really uncomfortable to play.
