Is there a single song in this game with out those stupid 2 note gallop steps? Those are overused SO MUCH.

Please tell me Tsugaru (APPLE MIX)'s
chart is the MAX2 one.

It's exactly the same.

You guys aren't missing anything with Take Me at all. Imagine Slip Out with a shitty chart and you got Take Me. I'd have traded it for a classic revival in a heartbeat.

Licenses are utterly disappointing, that's about all I have to say so far. Though Battlefield has a surprisingly fun chart.

The problem with the licenses are the ones you hear on a soft rock station. Not very hyper. Other than that Animal, Bad Romance, and Venus are constantly played.
Missing is another great one, but does not really fit the game. I have Everything But The Girl's THE WORKS album (a three CD collection of their amazing career) and Missing has a few remixes on the album that would fit better.

I believe all the challenge charts are octo-mode charts
As much as I love Octo-mode (ok, I only like it a little bit, sometimes it gets annoying),
It is irritating knowing that every challenge chart unlocked is going to be octo-mode.
It's kind of like when DDR X introduced shock arrow charts and most people got sick of it quickly.
If( and/or when) there is a sequel, I pray that they include standard challenge charts.

I agree. Octo-Mode is a cool concept. However, I don't want it to plainly overwrite the Challenge difficulty. I like Challenge charts to be harder (or if heavy is already hard: different) than the heavy chart.

Anyone have a favorite song in this mix?
Personally I love Private Eye; It was the first song I played, and I fell in love with it instantly.

I really like (or maybe even love) Untill The End. Made the game worth it for me.

My favorite is Seasons. I really love it.
Runner ups would be Until the End, Wicked Plastik and Private Eye.

Does this pad work on the game?
http://www.amazon.com/Master-Deluxe-Non-Slip-Dance-Playstation-3/dp/B000YFV9J2/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1290486727&sr=8-2
I notice that this product has been out for ages so I'm a bit skeptical if it will work on a game now designed on the PS3 platform.

Theoretically, if it has a USB connector, it should work.

So at this point the best pad you can get is the official one?

Unless you'd be willing to shell out a lot of money for a cobalt flux, then yes.I took an alternate solution by using industrial strength tape and connecting the bottom of the pad that was included in the bundle to the top of my RedOctane Ignition pad.
It's not perfect, but it works great for me.

ply wood, a computer chair floor mat, 14 lexan squares for each "button" of the pad (oone on each arrow, 2 on the center and each corner), and some duct tape. alternatively, drill through the lexan into the ply wood, but be careful going through the pad not to mess up the sensors.
shit works like a charm, i have an ultramix 1 bundle pad that still works with this set up, plus it feels like a "real pad" with all that put together right. iit protects your pad and plays great, i highly recommend this mod.

CRAZY♥LOVE should be renamed to CRAZY♥STEPS, I still love the song though :)
First time playing: "Well this shouldn't be too ba-OH MAN SO MANY JUMPS 'N STUFF!"
I can't even begin to tell you how many times I've fallen on my butt because of the mid-stream jumps.
Still, I did manage to pull of (what I think was) an awesome run with only 3 misses.

Crazy Love IMO is actually the least tiring of the jun 10s. It's slower than the last two entries. It's just being a bastard to step at a couple parts. New York Evolved, is the one that's giving me issues. Especially ver. A where it goes 380BPM. The other two is just a matter of getting it's steps in check.
