No offense animemetal1 but paranoia survivor max x-special wouldn't make much sense since it is basiclly the same song as paranoia survivor... 2 edits for the same songs dosnt make much sense ( I don't count sp-trip machine smm special because the smm specials are pretty much jokes). I think V x-special would be amazing though

Group 2 is Groove Radar ranking , it have Single play section and Double play section.
It ranks the total value of the sum of your 5 radar attributes.

Group 3 is Battle mode score ranking.

Group 4 is Marvelous star ranking.

Healing Vision is a popular song, so maybe they're taking the more well known/ milestones of each mix.

Honestly though, we're getting an X-special when we haven't even gotten the original DDR on the PS2 -.-

A Healing Vision X-special would be nice to see...

...as for a FAXX X-special, wtf? Aren't we tortured enough? lol =P Besides, they are only taking well known songs from EXTREME down to 1st Mix. I guess PSM just doesn't really deserve an X-special (i think that's what the challenge chart is there for )

But i am interested as to HOW the US and possibly EU will make the edits for the game with that "PC Program" Konami is making...let's just hope it will literally give us every single edit modification that we want and stuff...

Quite sad really.

Am I the only one not so happy with them using old songs for the boss songs on X? The current boss songs feels like more new boss songs should be coming out but instead they're gonna use X-Specials in place of the said new boss songs; feels rather cheap to be honest.

I think it's cool to have new steps for older songs (X-Specials + the four new oni charts), but it really is a desperate attempt to get more boss songs packed in there. Would it really have been so hard to...I dunno, just use a BEMANI crossover or take a boss-sounding song from a BEMANI album and make it a boss song?

The X-Special thing is pretty interesting and all, but there's not a lot of 'cool' boss songs this time around. They sound OK, and most of the charts are good, but where's my PARANOiA ~HADES~ or Pluto/Relinquish sounding song? Even Trigger doesn't sound 'evil' enough.

Let's hope DDR X is a one off where NAOKI/BEMANI artists isn't involved with a large section of the song list this time round. Maybe he'll be more involved in the next DDR as they promised 1.5x more new songs in the future mixes. I seriously hope that doesn't mean more transplanting DDR HP/HP2 songs in; as I want to see new AC NAOKI content.

QFT. Is it wrong that I expected a boss song to sound like a... well... boss!? That's my deal with On The Bouce. It's like giving .59 a hard chart and calling it a boss song.

A better example would be like, giving HIGHER a FAXX like chart.

On the Break = Final & Saber Wing = Extra? Am I the only one who thinks On the Break looks way harder then Saber Wing?

On The Break is harder than SABER WING by just a tiny bit. Now that I think about it, I'm not sure why SABER WING is a boss song since it isn't a boss on the US CS version. In fact, it was already available for play on the default songlist IIRC.

Yeah that was weird to me too. If anything, SABER WING should be unlocked already with it's remix being the EXTRA STAGE.

I think it probably will be just adding in Wii songs, but they are welcome as far as I am concerned :3. I think there's been sufficient complaints from the US/EU/JP players for them to know that they need more Bemani artists in the next AC game. Plus, they obviously are going to have a new sound director, so there will almost certainly be a change in direction. We'll see though...

Bring back jun, throw in VANESSA, and add TERRA songs and some never-before-seen collabs. 'Nuff said.
