Week 2:

+5 Ruti'n:
Impressive. Very Pump-like charts. Having seen the video I now appreciate the effort put into the artwork.

+4 Gemini:
The beginning of the song reminds me of Bad Apple!. Just the kind of music I would expect from the ITG team. Very good arrow play without getting any harder than it needed to be. Acceptable use of a stop.

+3 Intensive Care Unit:
Very oddly nostalgic sounding and loads of fun to play. The Challenge chart... how can I say this... the 16th trills were spot on but it felt like the rest of the chart didn't line up with the music. The arrows were on sync, but it was as if a series of jumps or Freezes were either an entire beat too early or too late. It felt really weird.

+2 Carnival no ridiculously long title:
This must've been painful to sync. I love the steps and the mood the song sets. Best Halloween-themed simfile I've seen.

+1 ChaiN De/structioN (siilento's solid remix):
A little too Freeze Arrow heavy, especially in the middle. Good use of musical cues though.

D.J. Swan <3. This was a peppy little song & chart. It felt like playing a beatmania crossover in 3rdMIX. Well done.

Honors: SigSig:
Though not as entertaining as last week's SigSig (hee), this is very well done.

Not crazy about the song but it is well stepped and fun.

SA.YO.NA.RA SUPER STAR:
I really can't find the words... I hope this song never officially ends up in DDR? Your steps are solid but this song is kind of all over the place. Also, because of the way ZIv packages .zips I had to change the name of the video to get it to work.

THE BLACK KNIGHT:
The stops in this song are the reason why I don't play Music Is The Rhythm. The music is fine, kinda reminds me of FIRE in some places and the steps are decent.

Radio Hardcore:
Well stepped but ultimately too repetitive.

Timepiece Phase II:
Feels like too dense an chart for the type of song. Nice ending.

Nornir:
I want to love this so badly! The "grinder" in the middle of the song is very daring and it actually fits the pace of the music. But the simfile is offsync and drifting so badly that even autosync couldn't compensate, it made a complete mess of that segment. I can easily see this file being flawless with a better sync.

Toy's 2 minute war:
It was cute the first week... But judging the file on the merit of the chart alone I wish the front half of the song were like the back half. It's a cute song, very 100-second Kitchen Battle, but it really needs less gimmicks and more structure.

Call My Name:
420 combo, hurr. The charts are really good but this music is really difficult to listen to. It's trying to be Euro but there was so much aural noise and changeovers for no reason... Good steps, bad song choice.

RYOUSHI NO UMI NO LINDWORM:
Good chart structure. That's about all I could tell given how fast the damn thing was whizzing by on the screen.

lol, that the official version has five charts and you have only three. Pretty close to what I have always wanted the official charts to be. The audio sounded very low quality though.

LOVE THIS FEELIN':
I honestly like this better than the official charts. As much as I do enjoy the officials, whatever they were on when Konami wrote them, this has more balance.

Meseki and Darkstorm are both pretty pro about this whole thing, and I'm sure that with the right song choices, they'll get their fourth member back soon!

Always Smiling - I felt like there was a lot of stuff going on in the song that you could've charted but didn't, and because of that the chart got repetitive. I also thought the crossovers were unnecessary in some sections. Not a bad chart, but definitely not my favorite from you.

Call My Name - Both charts were pretty good. I thought some of the clusters on challenge didn't go to anything and the heavy didn't really impress me much (although it was good). I think it was more the song itself though, as it was unremarkable and repetitve IMO

Carnival - Loved it. This was unique in a really good way . My only complaint is that a couple of the gallops didn't go to anything, but other than that, spot on.

Chain Destruction - Cool song with a cool chart. You abused freezes (seriously, most of them looked really sloppy) but the steps went well with the song. Nicely done.

Gemini - This suffered from a lack of jumps. They would have really spiced up the otherwise unremarkable quarter note sections and unltimately made the chart much more interesting. It's a shame too, because the patterns were pretty good and I really liked the song.

I'm In Love Again - Yep. This was a 3rd mix chart all right. That's not a compliment. Odd rhythm errors, weird patterns, and flagrant doublestepping really ruin what this song could have been.

Intensive Care Unit - Heavy was fun but unremarkable. Same goes for the challenge chart. The patterns were nice and the steps flowed well, but there was nothing attention-grabbing here.

Love Magic - Decent. The chart was a bit repetitive, and you definitely under-used jumps and taps here, but this altogether wasn't terrible.

Love This Feelin' - I wish this were the actual chart in the game, because I liked this a lot . It had a GOOD (looks menacingly at the author of I'm in Love Again) 3rd mix era vibe to it, and it feels good to play a Love This Feelin' chart that's actually on-sync. Nice work.

Nornir - Interesting. Not my favorite chart by a long shot, but definitely unique. I really don't know what to say about this honestly. Sorry :/

Not Myself Tonight - Pie, can you apply for a job at Konami? I want all of the liscence charts in the next DDR game to be by you :3

Radio Hardcore - The heavy was good. I didn't like the karaoke-stepping at some points, but the patterns were nice. The challenge was NOT a 9 and probably should have been the Heavy, as it was a much better chart. Nice work all around. I would have voted for this if you weren't on my team.

Ruti'n - Both files were ah-mazing. I especially loved the mines in the challenge. They were very well placed and added a lot of depth to the song. Seriously, I have nothing bad to say about this. Nice work.

Ryoushi - THIS is how you make a 10 footer. Nice job. You're another one who should apply for a job at Konami XD

Sayonara Super Star - Another interesting one that I really don't know how to assess. Parts of this were really good, and parts of it were kinda "eh" imo. I can't really pinpoint what parts didn't agree with me though... sorry :/

SigSig - This was an improvement over last week, but I feel like you need to put more though into your patterns. There are a lot of random doublesteps that don't make much sense, and some of your patterns feel...random? I don't know how to describe it. They don't flow that well. It's something that you inherit for playing and looking at a lot of charts, so you'll get it eventually. This was definitely a big improvement

Timepiece Phase II - This is one of those charts that grew on me as I was playing it. I'm not a fan of GF/DM stuff generally, but the crastmanship here is pretty amazing. I could tell that a lot of thought was put into this chart.

Toy's 2 Minutes War - Taro, why can't I vote for you? ;_;

Winterbliss - First it was kinda borning with those streams. Then you tried to mix it up with those sixteenths and it didn't work well at all :/

For those of you who I said your chart was unremarkable, here's what I look for in a chart:
-Creativity
-Step flow
-Use of crossovers/taps/doublesteps/freezes/jumps to add depth to the chart

If I didn't like your chart, you were probably missing one of these components, generally either the first one, the third one, or both. Notice how the three charts that I thought were awkward are at the bottom of the list. I hate charts that don't flow well. It's a personal thing . So yeah, I felt like I should explain myself.
