PFCed a hard edit (with a pad miss) This was made by darqs, maybe some of you saw his edits on one of my recent vids.

(ITG rated 11 and I'd say about 15 or 16 on the X scale)

Lastly this is the first time in a while that whoring a song actually paid off.


I still hold the World Record from DDR X.

I guess this is an acomplishment in a way. I got 15 planets on PIX event.

Some other players here have done better than me, though I have not yet seen someone hit 16 planets. For example, my score was in the 89xx light years yet some others have gotten in the 91xx. Either way its still only 15 planets. I think the ultimate limit is 16 to be honest cause the 91xx attempt I saw was a perfect 45 angle with only 3 or 4 bars missing on the meter.

My best score from that day is still yet to come, I've been busy editing the video. If someone could help give me advice I'll send you a link to the video since its private as of now.

I just got done playing today. After having my DrumMania fix for the week I FINALLY played DDR again after a short break (cant blame me, I love DrumMania). Anyways I ended up getting SIX new AAA's today. After three of the AAA's I realized I should probably start recording me playing because I was doing fairly well so I ended up with only 3 on video and 3 pictures. One of the AAA's was a sightread too. I will post them up over the next few days. I gots shit to do.

Actually, Dr. D, LWorld has shown 17 is possible, but 18, if it is possible, would have to be an absolute perfect run (45 degrees and full power)



/me has a bunch of random accomplishments over the last few days. Cachaca Double, Dirty Digital on Expert/Challenge Single/Double, Trip Machine Climax Double, and some others. I hope to get Aftershock next time I play since I got 1g on it when I unlocked it yesterday. It is only a 13. A bit long but it isn't as hard or awkward as Dirty Digital, just a bit long.

I saw the edit of the big angry white horse on some video. Well that's prety different from mine (i think our edits are good even if they are a bit different).
The first half on mine is harder because of lots lots of crossovers during triplet and stream of 5 arrows.
After it's easier.
The funny thing is that i almost did a 16th run in the slowdown too (because it make sence) but i came with a tricky thing.
A freeze + 16 notes next to it. It's like a drill but one of your foot will hit a freeze lol.

Ok my turn to post some stuff :
Played this weekend, friday and saturday. I don't know why but friday i was enjoying every game, that was so nice.

AAA#66 -Butterfly (2008 X-edit)- 19p NoBar

Super easy chart (it's a 5) but didn't got this one on my first run at all xD (it was my 4th try lol). I had so much mental block on Butterfly on extreme so that wasn't a suprise. It's also impossible for me to AAA Golden Sky . (same artist, same bpm, song very similar...)

I almost got Boys (2008 X-edit)- but i got the 2nd serie of shock arrows. I think my left foot hit the down panel with my heel. And the arows are super sensitive so ^^'
I'm also scared to stomp on the middle and getting shocked. I'm scared of the vibrations that could confirm one of the arrows even i'm not touching it.

I played some other shock songs, i made a little list. I'll play all of them and try to improve my score. 4 songs are easy to PFC (two 5' and two 7').
I don't know how i'll get a AA on Horatio , the lag throw me off on this one. Because of the lag, i have to step when the shock arrows are right on the arrows on this one it seems. Also the drills starting with a 8th notes makes no sence to me.

I got some decent scores on harder stuff.
I think my best score of the weekend is this one :

My best before this was 4. I'm close to an AAA but so far at the same time... :s
I was very happy with this score.

Also got 91 on Hades (this was my 3rd try. First was 90.xx). I want to shoot for the AA.
Same for Trip Machine PhoeniX where i got 93.xx.
AA'd Arrabbiata on my 2nd try. It's funny because i got 88.xx right before. But that was my first time playing it on pad. I changed the speedmod and played harder, so i got 7% more xD (doublestep at 225bpm on 8th notes is not so easy O_o).

As for my recent accomplishments its been a pretty slow week. I did get 6 AAA's on Tuesday but they honestly were nothing amazing. I have been VERY busy fixing the DrumMania machine I bought and just playing that. Now that DrumMania is working nearly 100% and its all nice and clean I can now go back to playing DDR as well.

Lets see... Before my friend June came to visit me at NIU to play DrumMania I decided to play some DDR... This was from the first round...

It may seem like nothing to you, but for some reason I am very bad at playing songs this slow with not many arrows. It seriously took me well over 30 tries over the past month for me to finally get it. I was surprised it happened during my first round so I decided to play another round...


Another easy one. I decided to try in on x5 for once... and I got it on my first try after doing that. I have not played this song since some little kid I played with chose it at Six Flags... ha!


I decided to play another round because I was AAAing the songs I usually can't AAA because of low BPM so I decided to play Be In My Paradise as my first song in the 3rd set. And... I AAA'd that... On a sightread. I just wanted to try this song because my friend enjoyed playing it on doubles a lot and actually enjoys the song. Glad I got it out of the way because it is a 63 BPM nightmare to me lol.

After my 3rd set I decided to finally start recording because I was doing very well. So I got 3 videos in...

Put Your Faith in me (Heavy) AAA...

This was done after practicing my R3 Freestyle. I really hate this song so I am very happy it only took me one try on the arcade game to get it done with.

Hysteria 2001 (Challenge) AAA...

I played it twice in a row. I screwed up the AAA at the beginning on my previous play so you actually hear me say "I can fix that" at the beginning of the video. It has a pretty stupid chart in my opinion so I am happy this one was done with too. The other actual song "Hysteria" is a specialty for me. I can AAA it on any given day usually on one of the first couple tries, but 2001 was not as easy sadly.

Colors (for EXTREME) (Heavy) AAA...

Actually this one is pretty easy. Its very on beat with the song and is very enjoyable to play so it kind of puts me "in the zone" when I play. The first play I had on it had a "Boo" missfire and I was not even recording it so it was probably a blessing in disguise. I played it again after the first attempt and got the AAA.

All the songs I AAA'd were easy. And maybe after coming out of not playing for a while, its not really a bad thing. I was used to playing Daily and I took almost two weeks off. Anyways before I go onto Winter Break I am going to try to make a video of the arcade machines in my possession as I constantly get requests for videos of them. I also am going to try to get to 100 Arcade AAA's before break too.

Oh and if you like DrumMania I guess this may tickle your fancy too...

Truthfully, if it wasn't for my Crohn's Disease, I'd probably have quite a few AAAs. I had surgery in September 2008, and that totally put me in a sedentary mood after I couldn't be active for SIX WEEKS, causing me to lose some of my DDR skill and start back at like 5 and 6 footers again after being able to pass LoM.

But, I actually did manage an AAA PFC on the controller the other day: Feel by Neuropa . Not too bad. Around 70 perfects, the rest marvelous I think. I don't really remember.

I know what you explain. It was the same thing for me during 1 year. I stopped sport and particularly DDR. Last year i was so tired i sleeped all the week to recover of my workweek. At this moment, i thought DDR was not for me lol but since 4 months the disease let me quiet. I take advantage of this to play and try to progress.


Excellent, i hope your health is good now and the crohn will let you quiet also. Share your scores when you can. Good courage. In French i say "Bon courage" !

Although I would like to change a bit the "mentality" of those in my area that complain when you play with bar or playing a very fast or certain switches, etc..

But here there are very good players, I think the best is called a "misterio", had many records of itg uploaded years ago etc etc and some very good also.
