Yeah.
His request wasn't a song request, it was just a request to romanize a song name in a banner and background.

About the 'request' issue, the main difference is that I can work on graphics on my laptop, but I can't run StepMania there.. so I can handle these kind of requests anytime (right now I'm on my main computer, that's used by every member of my family).

...I don't know, both videos work for me perfectly. Tell me your problem exactly (if it's earlier/later, if doesn't play, etc..).
Edit: BTW, it's normal that the video for She is my wife start before the song.

It plays perfect, but the video is 4 beats later than the music.. maybe U can cut some part of the first section...

Trying on the default SM theme, I can see that the problem is for some themes.
I use the CyberiaStyle theme, and all my videos seem synced on it...
The easier solution would be that you change your theme and try CyberiaStyle. For some reason, when I play She is my wife on the StepMania editor, the video seems synced!
About the smooooch problem, the easier solution is to remove any Unicode characters from all the filenames. I'll reupload a fixed .SM for it.

I used popcandy 2 theme & default theme. They show the same delay. ><

My video for smoooch is on sync on the default stepmania theme, without tampering around with the data file, but the framrate(?) drops for some reason. never mind about that little issue. it seems that it fixed itself.
Make sure to download axel's recent fix and to reload stepmania so the changes can take effect.
This is what I have in my sm file:
#BGCHANGES:1.650=smooooch.avi=1.000=1=0=1,
99999=-nosongbg-=1.000=0=0=0 // don't automatically add -songbackground-
;
with the video named: smooooch
Make sure to download axel's recent fix and to reload stepmania so the changes can take effect.

The framerate problem maybe it's because of the video resolution, which it's higher than my usual video resolution.
Actually the problem with smooooch is that if the video filename has Unicode characters (the ・∀・), the default theme (and probably other non-japanese themes) won't play it.
She is my wife, All I Want for X-MAS and other simfiles have the problem that they go offsync (earlier/later) on some themes while on others (CyberiaStyle 3.5) it goes perfect. I have no idea of why or how to fix it.

I'll download and have a look. I have a few copies of Stepmania on my machine, with different themes and timing settings.
Although I'd suggest making all filenames romanised and straightforward?
