DDR II & hottest party 5 (Wii) (International)

I'm afraid I'm going to have to agree with the delay on these files. If there was ever a release not to interfere with, it's this one. Sure they might not actually change sales figures but I'd hate to see hp5 miss the mark, Konami relapse on CS support completely and wonder what if things had been different.

It's not like you can't buy the game, or make the files yourself, if you really want them. The raw materials are all out there.

People impatient for the simfiles have already waited for a period of time. Why not convince your parents for a DDR christmas gift and wait a few more days?

Random change of subject, but I think I'm getting used to VD. I can nearly FC the Difficult chart, and have FC'd Beginner and Blue-FC'd Basic. I tried Expert and Challenge with a controller. Got D on both accounts. No way I'm ready to try THOSE on foot. o_o; VD and POSSESSION are the RDA songs I've gotten "better" at, for lack of better term. The rest are crazy hard still. OTL

Good for you, Fairy Red. Wish I can improve while at home. I'm a consistent B grader (or an A and AA on Stepmania machines).

Question: are you still playing with Shuffle on? Because almost FC'ing VD with shuffle on is pretty good, nice one. It's also pretty good going even if you didn't.

Incidentally it's interesting that you find the two that are regarded as the "hardest ones" easier than the rest.

I surprised myself, since I've been out of practice for so long. But it took like a million tries on my day off to even get that close, hahah. Let's stop diabetes with VD indeed. OTL That song alone, I might have lost a pound or two. Is POSSESSION one of the hardest? D8 Compared to songs like 888, or New Decade, or even Shiny World (despite the slow BPM!), POSSESSION is like a walk in the park. Okay, not really, but it "feels" easier. o_o; Won't touch challenge or expert, but the difficult chart is fun.

Also, Second Heaven's video doesn't seem to match what's being sang. Is that intentional, or do I suck at understanding those lyrics there? D8

Hah, and I've also softened my earlier harshness to long versions. SAY A PRAYER is the sole reason. I wouldn't want full versions to appear in the next DDR, but in this game, SAY A PRAYER redeems them all. oAo

Oh, Difficult. I don't know MUCH about them. Tried Anti-Matter? I'd hazard a guess that it'd be easier than New Decade.

I just wanted to say one thing: Wow I didn't know how knee-jerky members of this forum could be. I know that the new guy on the other page didn't exactly ask in the best way, but the overall responses seems to paint a lot of people with a large brush which I personally feel is a dangerous thing to do.

I guess I just really don't like people who make vast assumptions and speak on behalf of other people, especially this whole idea of people not being appreciative of simfile makers efforts. It can come across as quite nasty.

I also think that it's not a good way to encourage people to support the series.

He's been asking for the same thing pretty mcuh every day since the game has come out. In the same way without even having any damn patience. After a few weeks of "DO THIS NOW, DO THIS NOW" it gets a bit fucking annoying.

Also, regardless of him the general response was pretty harsh. Even I felt a little "attacked" considering the tone of the responses and I didn't even care about the pack's release date.

If people suspected him of being a spam member making another new account, then why didn't they say so (or better flag it)?

Perhaps it would be best to make a proper simfile release policy (if there isn't one already) and simply direct anyone asking to that page? It might be a good idea if it could be broadcast on every page of the site at the top or something anytime there is a new release so that problems like this could be better averted. Just a suggestion.

Some of the responses on here could been viewed as desperate fans holding the files to ransom because the game isn't selling. Again, I'm not bothered by when the files are released, just how we operate as fans. If we want to encourage people to buy the game then surely we should set a good example and give people a positive reason to do so?

I'm still not convinced POSSESSION is a 14. It feels more like a 15 especially with those draining jumps at the end.

Just as a little aside from this, what sales figures did people honestly expect/want to see? I know it'd be foolish for everyone to instantly think it'd sell millions because the boat has well and truly left on that one, but I'm just wondering.

How come you do this?
It's not like in IIDX where it's best to use RANDOM when practicing, but in DDR i think it just ruins the flow of the play O_o (given that it hasn't already been done. [seule] in that case it might even fix it)

And i don't know which would be easier, but i am definitely sure that New Decade is easiest of the 3 s.
I've tried Anti-matter 3 times, POSSESSION 2 times (oh dog what stamina eater, i can try that only once a day) and i cleared New Decade with a first try (only a C though, but definitely riseable)
