I swear, I can't string two steps together on doubles without them being awkward. It's amazing how awkward and unfun you can make a chart and still have zero double stepping and zero spins.

Nah. Doubles is more fun to step, IMO. The greater number of panels allows you more freedom with crossovers/crossover spins. I feel like my Doubles steps are overall better because there are a wide variety of patterns to be used on Doubles.
