Yeah, I wish they hadn't failed to deliver that feature for US PS2. I guess Konami has problems finding enough people to work on a game too.
I'm not worried about using SD cards. I'll never see DDR X in my area anyway.
And if I did, I have a microSD->SD adapter, and a little USB drive sized reader for microSD.

Im currently making a ton of edits in anticipation, I'm literally starting with 1st mix and going through every song that will appear on this game making an edit for it.

It may actually end of being better this way. As far as I can tell, the only songs available on X (AC) not on Japanese CS games are Me Against the Music, Put 'Em Up, FAINT, Doesn't Really Matter, Will, and Loving You. Meanwhile, there are dozens and dozens (I'd claim upwards of fifty, but I don't feel like counting right now) missing from the US games.

Though of course, that's assuming you will be able to edit every song (or most) with this PC program.

Either way, it's just a matter of time before someone figures out the format and writes an Stepmania -> DDRX format

That's what I'm patiently waiting for. There's no way to play my SABER WING edit through DDR's edit mode because they don't allow the combination of green and blue notes.

Unless Konami does something clever like making the program digitally sign/encrypt the edit data. That'd make it harder for people to use a different editor.

It would be nice. And it would be ONE opportunity for us to say to Japan "Haha, nyah-nyah-nyah-nyah-nyaaaaah-nyah". Personally, I'd just like a NORMAL way to use 12ths, instead of the stupid way PS2 DDR games make you do it.

Whew...lots of news to report from the official site.

-Chance & Dice has been unlocked according to the X AC website.

-Beautiful Inside (Cube::Hard Mix) has been unlocked, paving the way for even MORE Wii songs.

-Event section opened. Internet Ranking is seen, but no specifics on dates or courses yet. Finally, My Groove Radar and Marvellous Star ranking pages have been opened, with about 2,000 users in each, nice.

I'll be watching 2ch to see if any X-Specials get unlocked.

Chance and Dice & BICH unlocked! Two of my favorite songs.

Interesting note about Chance & Dice: NAOKI was the COMPOSER for that song (at least thats what it says on the jubeat soundtrack. Just found that out a few minutes ago while listening to it.)

Beautiful Inside unlocked... $100 says Into Your Heart Ruffage Remix is next on the list. And with that said, that actually pisses me off a bit. Naoki is NOT the only Bemani artist on Wii Konami!
