Let It Out

I've noticed that I'm not posting as much either. I agree with Arctic, the whole site has hit a lull. At least, until more news for all of the games appear and the early early hype starts.

Yeah hopefully we get news soon. The new CS game looks like it could be pretty good (so far).

But whats really discouraging and has reduced my posting is the AC scene right now. With this new crap-o-cab out and with Konami/Betson not seeming to put any effort into doing anything about it, the arcade doesn't look very promising for a while. While I thought DDR X itself was pretty bad, the new machine design it came with looked like future DDR versions after X were gonna rock the world. But now, since I'm assuming future games will be installed on this same machine, I don't really see any enjoyable experiences with new DDR arcade versions in the foreseeable future.

Strangely enough, this is my fifth post in the last two days (not counting Ultramix Hurt or Heal or the post in my simfile category thread because that was bumped), which is a lot more than I've been doing. In fact, I thought at one point I would fall out of my posting habit and become a lurker.

But actually, I think everyone goes through phases of posting a lot and hardly posting at all (certainly the site as a whole as well).

Well, whereas I was pretty doom and gloom about the future of DDR, with NAOKI as producer, I'm tentatively optimistic for a new generation of DDR. Seems like he's resetting the series, and now we'll get to see his vision of DDR. Hopefully, he's on board as Producer for the next AC mix as well.

I have faith in NAOKI to revive DDR to what it used to be. Hopefully Konami/him decides to focus on making good quality songs instead of just trying to draw in more players.

I believe the next game will be good as well. Naoki's a good man.

I'm mainly just worried about the machine we'll be playing it on.

Let's hope they don't let Raw Thrills design the cabinets for the next game, like they did with DDR X.

DDR was essentially built on NAOKI's songs. I'm very confident that he'll lead the franchise well.

I didnt like DDR X mainly because I felt like his influence was far less in this mix than in previous. DDR X should have had so much influence from him that it could be called the Naoki Mix, considering how DDR was like you said built on his songs. The terrible cabinets were the straw that broke the camel's back in my opinion. I will say that the good songs were incredibly good, and most of the charts were an improvement as well.

The new cabinets are playable if you do some simple mods on them (as demonstrated in this video), but considering most of the cabinets are presumably going to places like GameWorks and Dave and Buster's they'll probably remain shitty forever.

I'd like to dedicate this song to all high-school and college students who are now enjoying their summer vacation. Oh, and video

Don't complain, my GT4 save file of several endurance race wins, including two 24h races wins, was wiped for no reason.

Major suck man. I remember playing DK64 and taking on K Rool as Chunky (Last part) get's ready for the final hit and the game locks up. & the time I FINALLY beat Zelda WW and it locked up on the credits.

My Gran Turismo 4 doesn't even work because my ps2 laser scratched it and it scratched my DDR X also. (It has a major disc read problem). My DDR Supernova froze when i just got an AAA on Fly Away -Mix del Matador-. So yea my ps2 freezes on every game now.

I upgraded to Firefox to 3.5.1. It seems they only fixed some security issues. My friend want to play Stepmania with me today, but i don't feel like walking over there. lol
