Hey, I never noticed the voltage on Possession was as high as it is. I didn't actually see a spot where it'd be all that high compared to other songs. Is there just one area that I missed in the chart, or?...

I'm guessing it's the triplets that contribute to the high voltage.
make a song with triplets in it and watch the voltage skyrocket. It's a little odd IMO.

Well i'm weird maybe... it's impressive but i'm not impress that much... Maybe beause i saw people get tri-stars on ReaF :s
(and 888 is like an easier ReaF).

I hope people don't feel i'm downgrading this video or anything like that.
But everyone is like shitting in their pants with this video and i'm wondering if they know that their is other kick ass songs/players too.

Dr. D, I always thought you're pretty good but after seeing your footwork, I have to say wow. You lift your feet up pretty hight to me, and that's impressive to me because there's playing who wouldn't lift it that high. You must have crazy stamina then.

By the way, when I watch your videos, it motivates me to do better, and I constantly need the motivation as I always see better players than me. Your foot camera idea helps a lot too so keep up the good work!

I think that he's gotta have insane stamina to do most of these songs, or at least better than mine. I can only play 2 sets of 8s and one set of 9 before I'm out... But then again, I do have that pesky heart condition holding my stamina back. I always wonder if I'd be 10 times more incredible if I didn't have the damn problem.

Voltage is calculated using the most dense steps of the chart at the highest BPM of the chart. For Possession, it's the 16ths at 185 that give it the voltage is has (because the groove radar shows 16ths at 370 BPM) It's also why Pluto oni has high voltage even though the steps aren't really that fast.

This is what StepMania does, but I don't think it's what the actual X2 engine does. Otherwise, Pluto Relinquish would be 32nds at 800 BPM, but its Voltage 'rating' is only 195, behind PARANOiA ~HADES~ and POSSESSION.

Actually, high Voltage means it's the slow bpm zone with lots of arrows being thrown in.
The slower the bpm is, the better it is (Pluto Relinquish is 1 of the example)
Konami name it POSSESSION for a reason, & it seems logical.
It's like playing a soccer for an example; Possession high means the ball passing rate is good (No breaking of "Combo")
So if a player get a full combo on POSSESSION, you will up your Voltage.
