Not to sound egotistical, but I could probably get almost half of those trophies after 3 hours of playing.

I just hope we get some new Darwin/Fracus unlocks. From Pies twitter, the variety of artists in the unlocks seems pretty much spot on with HP3 vs HP2. HP2 I thought had a lot more variety in its unlocks.

I wouldn't call it egotism. Those trophies do look pretty easy to unlock.

I'm sorry, but this is just awful.

1. You cannot read your judgments at all due to the explosions.
2. Lyrics in the background ... really? That's just distracting.
3. Judgments in the background? Again, distracting.
4. I hope CHAIN ARROW passages can be disabled.
5. Jumps add 2 to your combo rather than one.
6. O.K.s add 1 to your combo too.

This breaks so many traditional DDR rules.

I actually like how over the top it is, the backgrounds especially look really nice and it's a lot more exciting to watch. i'm still not a fan of the arrow skin, but in almost every other regard it looks like konami actually tried pretty hard with the visuals.

The trade off for this, is that i won't take it as seriously as a main AC game or port. it's not like NA CS games have been anything to take seriously for a while now, so no huge loss.
The only time i find the bg a bit much is in the "dreaming a wish can make it come true" video, having the judgement fly up with arrows wasn't too smart

although i will admit i also don't like the idea of "chain arrows", it would be nice if they could be turned on/off. i just want the simple scoring that i know the meaning of

Oh dear god. I cannot express how irritating the in-game visuals are. Can't stand the note-skin and the over-the-top effects. The screen filter is not dark enough at all. Sigh, can't wait to see these songs get ported to AC, on an interface that's clean and playable. Well, I'm in it for the steps and songs right now, I doubt I will actually ever get this game, lacking a PS3 for one.

Downloadable themes that are actually usable would be nice too.

I'll be honest guys, only two things really bother me with the game:
The lack of EDIT MODE (which I hope becomes downloadable),
and lack of online play (which is just stupid)

Other than those two issues, it's decent. I'd give it a 7/10.

Just got home with this game and watched the credits movie from the options menu. I don't have a camcorder so I'll just type what I remember seeing. I'll edit after I re-watch the movie etc. A full version of Let's Get Away plays. Here they are in random order:

While I will admit that the song sample being played on the results screen is nice, the gameplay screen however isn't. The fact that the entire arrow column lights up after an arrow is hit is pretty annoying too.

Dear god. The video of "dreaming can make a wish come true" is even worse with the judgments scrolling UP with the arrows in the background.

RGTM WILL SUE.

While we're on about what's wrong with the game...

7. Arrows on the same beat as a freeze arrow do not get freeze arrow color, but Note color.

Also looking forward to Tsugaru (Apple Mix)'s new charts.

I love the new layout and visual style.

I guess the only downside is not being able to see your judgements, and adjusting your timing accordingly mid-song.

Is the list for the wii in the database the exact same as the ps3? Do we not get say it again?

I doubt they would put the DLC songs in the credits of all places...


I don't know, someone still has to submit to me a FULL list from the PS3 version with song name, artist, BPM and difficulties.

1: It should be identical.
2: Haven't got a clue. I hope so, though.
