Hey Omega, if Starter Mode is available as you said, could you look at it, just for fun, and see if HOW TO PLAY is in English?

Tsugaru's all weird now, I'm certainly *NOT* PFCing that again even though now it's supposed to be easier hehe. I noticed that the taps before the ending slowdown are also 12th notes now. You know, I'm glad that Konami is finally fixing all these minimal mistakes or inaccuracies in all those charts, but after such a looooong time it will only f*ck up old-school players like me, who are actually used to all that weird stuff in certain stepcharts. Also, it's another thing to worry about when you're playing earlier DDR =/. But it should make things easier to new people who start out in this era, and I'm cool with that.

I've been enjoying all your videos so far Dr.D, thanks for the hard work. Have you tried stoic on X yet? I remember that Konami fixed the ending in SN1 before the patch, but it went back to all its early glory again AFTER applying the patch.

If some stupid kids leave credits on the machine again like they did the last two weeks sure, but I dont like wasting my own money to see beginners mode, for obvious reasons.

Do you mean manually add all the steps to each chart!?!? Or did you mean something else?

All that I know for sure about this is that if you have the data out put to your USB you can send it to me and I can put it on my USB. I try this in HK and it worked with my friend.

By the way, before in taiwan no one knew how to play edit data and now I know why. When you output to your usb it creates a file.

It should be something like ddr-edit_J.DAT (might not be exact)

The problem before was the "J." Presumably the J stands for Japan. In asia's case, you must rename the file and change the "J." to a "A." and then it will work on the machine. I think it will be similar for America or Europe. Maybe a U

to be honest i probably cant do any of those. Right now i only have DDR X jp for the PS2. I dont think those songs are on there. Maybe paranoia but for sure not the other ones.

The original Paranoia is on DDR EXTREME and DDR SN2 JP CS.

The Paranoias revived in X are Dirty Mix, Clean Mix, -Respect-, Survivor, and Survivor Max

Could we use old DDR game save data in X?

And how to convert it from PS2 mem card to a USB?

If you have an old DDR game before X, you will have to:

1. Using the old DDR game, OUTPUT the edit into your PS2 memory card.
2. Use the OUTSIDE MANAGER on DDR X (PS2) (Japan) to INPUT the edit into the EDIT LIBRARY.
3. OUTPUT the EDIT LIBRARY on to the USB memory stick.

It is documented here in Japanese.

We could use any type of USB right?

not just Maid Yuni USB?
