So, Konami Europe lying about promising around 70+ songs before? And finally we got around 60+ songs ?

We will have to wait and see but personally I wouldn't get too hopeful, but then we Europeans are used to it by now.
In fact I still never got why it was so hard for Konami to simply port and convert EuroMIX2 to CS by interchanging a few of the licences here and there. They own the KO's and crossovers so all 49 of them could be included easily and any licence issues could be solved by simply not including them and throwing in the Kylie, S Club Juniors, and Christina Milian songs they produced for MegaMIX (and any others they had on the back burner). You know, putting in some real effort.
Now we have copypaste American songlists with a single, random European licence thrown in.
Joy.
sigh

EuroMix 2 has some nice licensed songs such as WWW.Blonde Girl (MOMO Mix), Test My Best, Never Ending Story (Power Club Vocal Mix), etc.
But it more better than DS SN1 before. t.A.t.u, A-Ha, Fatboy Slim, and all licensed songs on DS SN1 just meh for me.

EM2 would have been very expensive to license because of STEPS, apparently that accounted for a very large portion of the license funding but was totally worth it as everyone knows 5, 6, 7, 8 and STOMP.

Correct; those and Cotton-Eye Joe still stand as the three most popular songs on EM2.

The Chavs, Townies and Scally's who play Afronova all the time would like to have a word with you.
If 5, 6, 7, 8 was so pricey then why did they use another Steps song in Max? Or is there a difference licensing for AC, CS or both?

Maybe Chain Reaction wasn't as pricey as 5, 6, 7, 8 or STOMP? Who knows, my thought is that they were too cheap to give us a DSEM2 CS.

But Steps has been already over, just like Spice Girls.

I can read something like 'Chele' as the first name on the list, whoever that could be.
Also I was gonna say that that image of a girl on the bundle box looked better but she looks so pasty-white on reflection, that's just not normal. Good thing I don't ever need to buy PS2 bundles anymore.
Also it would be funny if the bundle was more honest and stated "all the same hits the Americans already got months ago with an added vague European hit. Sorry Europe".

I can't think of anything that would fit the first one, other than 'Ciara', but that second letter isn't an i.
