beatmania IIDX INFINITAS (PC)

This game is slowly turning into Resort Anthem CS, which I'm not opposed to at all, although I would like to see more songs from newer mixes or even more INFINITAS-exclusive songs eventually.

Also, the new update is over 1GB again; it looks like bi-monthly updates containing two months' worth of songs is going to be a thing now.

I have noticed that songs (prior to EMPRESS) in CS 16 are constantly being added to INFINITAS.
(For example, CaptivAte～浄化～ was added in Feb 2017 and DoLL was added in Jan 2017.)

This month we have another CS16 old song No.13 from PREMIUM BEST DISC. Exactly one song for a month.
That's not a surprise for me since it's still available in SINOBUZ, I really wish to see more TaQ songs coming up.

So apparently Konami tossed in the AC version of Be Rock U, which surprises me (given that 9th CS had different vocals).

I'm not surprised, considering that the CS version had jun vocals.

The Golden Week event is now active, giving 3 times the bit output when using the bit boost power instead of 2, and adding new customization items. Also, 2 of the 8 upcoming songs for May are CaptivAte～誓い～ and Vermillion.

Hello everyone, revisiting this topic again after over a year, I'm now kind of siriusly (or seriously) thinking about finally considering getting into beatmaniaIIDX INFINITAS. I have a few questions though:

Question #1
-Does the game have the VFX/Effector functions (like Echo, Reverb, Surround, etc.)?

Question #2
-Although I'm thinking about getting the newest INFINITAS-compatible DJ DAO controller, I'd still like to know where exactly to buy the Konami Official beatmaniaIIDX INFINITAS PREMIUM Controller. I can't seem to find the item even on Konami's official website nor e-Amuse.

Question #3
-Just to reconfirm, as someone who doesn't live in Japan, the only way I could play INFINITAS is to use my non-JP credit card OR use PASELI to purchase the monthly subscription, correct?

1) The game doesn't have any effector options at all (although I wish it did).
2) You could only buy the official controllers during the limited time they were on sale (sometime last year, I think). I'm sure the DJ DAO controllers are compatible as well, but I'm not the person to ask how to configure them to work with the game.

That being said, I am still disappointed that even after a year, such a traditional feature, the effector, which is even present in the PS1 beatmania games, is still not in beatmaniaIIDX INFINITAS. I'm now starting to wonder who's KONAMI's target audience with INFINITAS....according to a basic estimate, if at least 5000 people are playing, they should be raking in AT LEAST around 44,205,200 JPY (or $400,000 USD) in net revenue by the end of each year. Surely it wouldn't cost $400K to add one feature such as the effector to the game. As for the limited-time availability of the PREMIUM KOC, that leaves very little room for fans who were still on the fence about INFINITAS....unless Konami secretly recognizes DJ DAO and is leaving the rest (not to mention, potential sales lost) to him to save on production costs.

Anyways, I have a new prediction...given the amount of content in the updates, it think this is Konami's plan for INFINITAS, music-wise:

2018 - All RESORT ANTHEM songs available
2019 - All Lincle songs available
2020 - All tricoro songs available
2021 - All SPADA songs available
2022 - All PENDUAL songs available
2023 - All copula songs available

....and so on following this pattern.

I hope that by 2024, INFINITAS is overhauled and has tons on customization options, including being able to play with previous respective IIDX AC interfaces. By 2020, they should have already received their return on investment, so maybe they'll start considering adding even better content and features by then.

SIRIUS songs haven't been added for some time, so it remains to be seen if any of the ones still missing will show up. But I wouldn't hold my breath for the licensed song (MIRU key way). Though Be Rock U being the original AC version (instead of the replaced vocals they gave us on 9th CS for some reason) may or may not be a sign.

In terms of the controller, it probably costs a fair amount for Konami to start up production, so they'd have to produce the controller in batches in order to make a profit. And I'm willing to bet that the profit they make isn't all that much. It may be more beneficial for them to let someone else do the dirty work. But there's a possibility if enough Japanese people ask about it, they may make more controllers (after all, I remember this being the case for the PS2 ASC).
