Goldensunboy: The two SN1 machines around where I am are both 50 cents a play, although one of them is only that price if you buy tokens in quantity or have a membership card. Either way, I still have about 50 tokens laying around my place for that arcade, so what does it matter? Smile

That being said, I think your theory is a pretty sound one about score saving in OFFLINE MODE. Was at first wondering where Al was getting that from on the image, then realized that that's what the katakana at the bottom of the screen were... I'm such an idiot sometimes.

Heh, the only way we'll find out is if an American or Japanese arcade sets the machine to OFFLINE MODE with e-AMUSE card units installed and see what happens.

The tokens at our local arcade are $0.25 each, 24 for $5 or 50 for $10. I always get the 50 token deal, which makes each credit on the SN basically cost $0.60 (not including illiterate people who just stick alot of tokens in the machine without counting, and leave partial credits on the machine). There is no membership or special deal stuff at our arcade, just come in, buy tokens, spend them.

But what I really wanted to say was that on Thanksgiving day, they were selling 80 tokens for $10. I bought $100 of tokens (800), and I just ran out a few days ago, LAWL. Anyway, that's actually 37.5 cents per credit. I didn't want to buy more than 800 though, in case something happened like the SN broke and they didn't feel like repairing it, etc. Add about 40 coins already in the machine, on the floor, donated by spectators (Laughing Out Loud ), that's about 280 credits, spent in 3 months. Shocked

So, in other words, we'd have to be waiting on an offline Japanese arcade. Smile

Kinda like having to wait for Gehennom to freeze over, no?

Not too sure, you might have to register your arcade, card reader or Internet connection with KONAMI or something like that...

I don't think it's as simple as just getting them and just plugging it in lol.

Umm... All i know is, the machine must have "Online status on" (Network OK) to be able to use the e-AMUSEMENT PASS & Score Display.
If the Network went down for a while, we can't use the e-AMUSEMENT PASS & the Score Display will went missing...
So the Offline Mode really look interesting now XD If only i can try it at my arcade...

Yup, or Konami won't recognise the machine XD

To destructo-bot: hey yea we might...but that is IF i am able to go on friday, depending on whether my older brother can take me and my little brother over there

on the SN2 HDD: not a bad idea...though i see flaws if someone managed to do that, like e-amuse capability/compatibily, language (lol), and other stuff, but i really don't know myself =/

Just a note, you don't have to play NGO to get OMES, just play pick RANDOM and get a good grade on that.

And thanks for the vids, I'll have a look at them tonight when I get home.

Remember, the score you get on your final stage determines your battery life. And the EES will probably be PARANOiA HADES.

Has anyone gotten an answer from Betson and/or Konami about NA unlocks?

Because I still haven't gotten one.
