Danca and Domi apparently got the axe. Everything is supposedly unlocked too, so I'm assuming they're actually gone this time.

edit: Gaku was given the axe too. I KNEW someone else was missing but I couldn't put my finger on who it was.

"Well."
Aw no, how disappointing! ;A; My sister will be sad, too, she plays Domi all the time. But the rest of the characters except for them two are still there? Even Gaku?

So only ver. A of New York Evolved goes 380BPM in a section, the other two don't. Double steps annoy me in spots but other than that it doesn't look as bad as it seemed earlier.

Ugh, A Geisha's Dream (Ruffage Remix)'s chart is just as trash as before. We've gone from one end of the shit spectrum to the other. This looks like whoever wrote Second Heaven Challenge Beta wrote this. No flow at all, in the slightest.

ever snow's stepchart is also an extended copy/paste of the original's.

The charts range from decent to fairly boring. So Fine is so bad, but According To You is actually really good. Curry Up is really bland, especially because the steps seem so randomly placed, the double steps don't seem intentional, just that whoever wrote the chart didn't really understand how it would look to play it. I thought Seasons looked pretty fun. Same with Love Like This.

I'm liking the songs themselves though.

No surprise there.

And I hope Danca did get axed and isn't just an unlockable later on like before. Not surprised about Domi either.

Also, how do the Mii models look?

Just wondering, does the ending credit contain a long version of any KO songs present in this game?

HP -> Mess with my Emotion
HP2 -> Into Your Heart (Ruffage Remix) (Also included in OST)
HP3 -> A Brighter Day

I said that already.
Let's Get Away / NAOKI feat. Brenda Burch is featured as the ending credit song.

Thanks.. Apologize for that.. I probably missed your post on it when I flipped through the previous pages.

Anyone able to do a lineout of the credit?...

I look at it this way with Ever Snow's chart, if it ain't broke don't fix it. A Geisha's Dream I completely agree with, if that's what they were going to do with it I'd have preferred the original song and chart as what we have now is an abomination of double steps and spins into oblivion.

Also agree with So Fine. Sean Paul can't catch a break in DDR it seems as nothing has come even close to Get Busy in Extreme 2. The chart works, but it could've been more than it was.

I do have to give Konami some credit for hearing the cries about the pedestrian difficulty of HP3, but at the same time it's like whoever is doing the charts these days needs to take a good look as to how DDR from I'd say 2nd through Extreme AC was being handled, because while those games had it's stinkers too, there were come classics that are just as fun to play now as they were then because they were difficult but not loaded full of idiotic gimmicks. Hell, I'm glad they kept Ever Snow almost exactly as it was before, as it's one of the best charts in the game because of it.

There were no gimmicks in this game except for the last 5 unlocks.

I'm not talking about those GIMMICKS, I'm talking about cheap double steps and such as being gimmicks. Me, of all people should know that there's no in-game Gimmicks at this point.

Now that I think of it, the lack of them makes HP1 and HP2 nonstop megamixes AAAable through conventional means.

I, not me.
Double Stepping shouldn't be regarded as a gimmick.
And the only double stepping that is horrendous in amount is Geisha's Mix Expert. That's it.
The rest is livable to have.

I didn't say it wasn't. I didn't even say that ALL double stepping is cheap. Ex. End Of The Century's double stepping isn't cheap as it goes with the song IMO, however A Geisha's Dream remix is just bad because many of them are forced in awkward positions.

Curry Up doesn't bother me too much either, except that IMO it should've been a more twisty 9 with complex crossover streams. Speaking of which, a chart like Exotic Ethnic seems to be something that Konami is scared to death of doing these days.

End of Century's steps, if released today, would be considered trash. They don't "go to the music". Dainkenkai's double steps are the only steps that "go to the music" as the lyrics are completely nonsense, so are the steps (and I think it's meant to be that away). At any rate, I took a look at the chart. Honestly, if that chart flowed it would be an 8. I don't see why a chart not flowing can't be a valid way of making the chart difficult. V (for Extreme) Heavy does it, Destiny Lovers does it, End of Century, BreakDown, Daikenkai, Paranoia Evolution and so many others use "forced double stepping" as a means to make the song harder. The fact that the chart is very consistent about it's double stepping makes me think they thought about how it would make the player mess up and rated it a 9 as such. Chart difficulty doesn't have to come solely from rhythm and arrow count.

Yeah I was agreeing with everything you said in the "why do people like ITG hax" thread and I was like "wtf why do we clash?"

Anyway, I never have bought a Wii DDR due to worries of bad soft pads, but Aegis assures me the Wii pads are actually decent. Can anyone else confirm as I'm looking for a home DDR solution 8)
