Yeah, you can see smooooch, Dazzlin' Darlin, Second Heaven, and FIRE FIRE in that order. They all use some form of the beatmania IIDX art: smooooch uses MAYA's characters, Dazzlin' Darlin has Dai doing his thing, Second Heaven has that guy in the chair from the video, and FIRE FIRE is using one of its unique overlays.

And for some old DDR songs that appear on Universe 3 maybe has same CD album image too.

Paranoia Rebirth, Matsuri, Kind Lady, Murmur Twins, etc.

They don't have any work to do for the old songs. Only SuperNOVA-X would need new graphics; old songs have backgrounds, and if DYNAMITE RAVE is any indication, they'll just use those.

Jubeat also has CD art for some songs featured in DDR (Rin Toshite Saku Hana no Gotoku, TRUE LOVE, Chance & Dice etc.)

From 2ch, so unofficial, but apparently none of the crossovers are cut, they use their full versions. Also, on the bounce oni has apparently been dropped down to a 15.

Although, I kinda like the plain look. It makes it look sort of...sleek i guess is the right word?

It looks kinda cool to me, but my suggestions would be:

-Add a backdrop behind where the actual album art is and add an animated background (ala HP3)
-Make that white backdrop for the difficulty/groove radar look a little cooler than just a white backdrop, possibly add some stuff like bars for the difficulty.

So bemaniwiki currently says BOTH SN1 AND SN2 License songs are cut (with the exceptions listed)

we all know about SN1, but SN2? please say that ain't so!

I just wonder about La Bamba - LH Music Creation on X2 USA PS2.

Is that song no longer licence song ?

And that song appear again on X2 USA after on SN2 USA.

By my understanding, La Bamba is in the public domain. Meaning, a cover version can be made with no legal problems down the line.

I agree. I can't really judge until I see it in motion. Oh, and Konami should hire Toon & silverdragon. Some of the best BEMANI art I've seen in recent memory came from these two.

on the bounce as a 15 wouldn't make sense to me on X, but I think they're kind of "beefing" up the difficulties. roppongi EVOLVED would be a 16 on DDR X, but is instead only a 15 on X2.
