Damn, it's a shame to see a game which you saw on its early years die after years of great music and support.
I think this is very unlikely, otherwise we would have seen songs from inactive series removed years ago (like both songs from Mambo a GoGo, stuff from beatmania, DanceManiaX or even BeatStream).

Removals only happen when it’s an artist leaving, not a series.

You'd be able to play it, but you would not be able to redownload songs you've purchased. The online service of the app would be shut down permanently. That's what happened with pop'n rhythmin, and because I wasn't able to get my songs back after getting a new phone I just had to delete the app.

Also, eventually the iOS upgrades would make the app incompatible, which is why my rhythmin stays bricked on my iOS11 or whatever.

Worst case scenario, the end support for RBplus wouldn't necessarily make the app inaccessible immediately. They could continue the app forward (though since piracy is so rampant for it and jubeat, I doubt it) but at the very least it could stay working for the next few years. Chances are when the game is no longer supported by a future iOS, your current device may be too old to run it. Stick with your current software in the future to ensure the game runs.

Considering that Beatsteam is over and they actually just ported most of the game's original songs into the other Bemani games (ie. Sound Voltex just had a recent Beatstream update), I don't see them removing RB originals from other games either.
