I've changed all the 16th runs in my chart to 12th runs. Amazingly, you can get some nice 12th streams with HDV's beat. ;)

I'm going to mess with the gallops in the rest of the chart to see if they sound better 12th'ed.

And, no offense FELM, but we know this already because that's the timing the song is written in. >_> Of course they sound better in triples.

Now that I've had the chance to play the radar specials, here's what I think:
FELM: I failed at the death run, but it looks fun. The phone trills are funny.
Pluto: Too gimmicky. You could have spread out the freeze arrows better instead of having just one huge freeze stream. Same thing with the chaos; try to use more throughout rather than placing random sixteenths at the end.
FAXX: Alright. Not excessively gimmicky.
Chaos: Really nice use of the freeze arrows.
HDV: Too much random chaos removing whatever flow the stepchart may have had.
Poseidon: Nice. Could have been a Voltage special with those 32nds.
SMM: Also nicely done.
Xepher: Not enough emphasis on the Air. I know you were trying not to make it a bunch of jumps like Dynamite Rave Air Special and it's easy to fill the Air meter, but IMO, a good Air special is one that stays true to the rhythm of the song without being stingy on the jumps.

Remember that the Voltage Special means anything goes. If you want to do something extremely crazy (and sensible) but doesn't qualify as a GR Special, then call it a Voltage Special.

FAXX has maxed CHAOS due to the fact that the stops made the song offbeat so they compensated by making the ending stream 8th note jackhammer streams that are timed as 48ths. I had some trouble with a sensible stepchart but FAXX takes up a lot of measures and the first 100 section had nothing in it.

I wanted Pluto to follow the beat as much as possible so freeze arrow streams are used to shave off some of the meter. If I didn't add the little taps at the end, the Chaos meter would be slightly off from 1. I'm still proud of it though.

I re-uploaded HDV (Chaos Special). The 180 section is now all 4th and 12th notes and I added a few more jumps and a new 12th stream. It actually matches the beat of the song now.

I think the 360 section is supposed to be in 12ths (or 6ths) as well. Your new version is off on the parts where it's following the sets of 5 claps. Those should be space the same as the ones in the 180 version, i.e. 3rds at 360, or 6ths at 180.

Maybe using 24th notes to replicate the 8ths could work. I might just scrap the entire 360 section except for the jumps and ad-lib something sensible.

...Or I could pull of a Konami and leave it as is.

Place the steps following the claps on every 4th 12th, and the other steps on 6ths. Or remove the speed change, and do it similarly to the 180 section, but with harder 12th streams.
You shouldn't need to place any steps on anything but 4ths and 12ths.

Nothing really remarkable came to mind when I watched it. I'll play it at like .7 or some such when I play it. Too hardcore for me.

Uploaded DEAD END (SN2 Version); the original DEAD END charts following the new bpm changes and stops of DEAD END (GRS) in SN2.

It also comes with a Groove Radar special. Now with no spins and maxed out stats! ;D

Should I re-rate some of the charts? Some of them look harder then they say.

Here's how I work:

if it's on a system, I'll edit it. I can't stand using the edit mode under Stepmania to create steps. It's too frustrating and takes too much time (which is why I kinda stopped making my originals for a while)

I don't have an Xbox, so I wouldn't be able to edit DEAD END on an Ultramix 2 - unless someone is willing to lend one to me for the weekend; the idea of editing the song has been on my mind for a while.

Really? To me, the StepMania editor was easy to understand, but I never figured out how to operate DDR's Edit Mode (at least not Extreme 2). I could have put more effort into actually using it, but the configuration simply seemed too daunting.

Hmm tried your edited HDV chart, I think it's a lot better than what you had last time. However I think the 12th streams can be better; constantly hitting two arrows only is a bit boring. Might want to alter it a bit.

I agree with Artix on the 2 arrow 12th streams. I hadn't though about it before, because it doesn't bother me.

I guess I could try to give HDV something in the way of substance other than gallops. Then again, I can't imagine HDV without gallops.

! (FDE) is almost finished. All I have to do is straighten out the chart. It should probably be up by this week.

It might take a while for me to get new simfiles up as I have some computer issues and a parent that's completely devoid of reason (Thank GOODNESS I'm almost 18).

HDV doesn't necessary need gallops all the way.. You can make it an AIR CHAOS haha..

And the 12th streams doesn't have to be connected, try to imagine HDV Original Challenge steps and convert it to 12th notes, it'll be fun.

I did think about it. It's the base for my chart. ;)

The 12th streams gives the CHAOS and takes up some of the empty beat in the measures that did used to have gallops or random 16th triplets. As for more substance, I'll listen to HDV a few more times to see if I can't find something to use.

Edit: FAXX Groove Radar Special now has a new NINE footer GR chart. It's not as hard as Arrabbiata or PARANOiA Hades but it's a difficult 9 like Orion .78 (Civilization Mix) or CARTOON Heroes.

24th streams and 32nd triplets at 155 bpm? Really M. Emirzian?
