UPDATE
Here's all the progress that has been made on 2ndMIX mode as of now.
Highlights:
- Difficulty Select is fully functional (sans the maniac code) and actually reacts to what difficulty you're choosing.
- Mods are LOCKED in 2ndMIX mode, even if you apply mods, the game will reset to 1x and no freeze arrows.
- Gameplay out sorta works now.
(video's been fixed, sorry for that)
OMG looks so good!!

2ndMIX's life bar is somewhat working
I tried the new version with the 2nd MIX life bar but it's not showing up when you play a song just the arrows and the combos

Make sure you perform a fresh install for every update I put out. A lot of things change that can cause things to break

Is there or will there ever be a way to change the scoring system in your theme? I usually use Supernova 2 scoring system, but it doesn't look like your theme uses that.

Turns out it was just some broken code, fixed in the latest update.

The theme should already be forced to use SN2 scoring
-----------------------------------------
SSM's scores have been updated to always show the correct conversion according to SN2's scoring.

Didn't seem to work for me. :/
See the problem is that for me, even if I get a score of 990000 or higher, I get an A in the results screen, and it also shows a AA in the music select screen, as opposed to a AAA. I'm using your latest update by the way.

SN2 scoring doesn't mean SN2 grading. StepMania 5 does not allow for SN2-style and later grade calculation, so the best you can do is fake it, which nobody has bothered to do yet.

Now if only he actually shared his work with other themers instead of keeping it all in a private group...

It's not like it's exceptionally hard to do, hence why I used "bothered" rather than "tried". This X3 theme already has the grade calculation code, it just doesn't have an actor to display it yet. I also don't like it very much specifically because it's misrepresenting what the game actually gave you.

Nice theme there! Just a reminder that some Chinese characters may be missing (as is the upside-down A for BREAK DOWN! or smoooch) or show up incorrectly (some players using this theme will have Chinese songs in their setup).

This is looking great!
Quick question - does this theme support Unicode? I have been working on some K-Pop/J-Pop simfiles and some Kanjis and Hangul characters show up as "?"s on the song wheel and reverts to the transliteration depends on which screen. If the theme doesn't support it, how do I add it in? I remember creating a PNG grid with the new characters I'm using back in 3.9.
