DJMAX is nothing without keysounds lol. They've been a staple of the series.

DJMAX has been keysounded since the start so whoever is making DJMR only has to keysound the what 10 new songs they add.

I thought about it a tiny while back that doesn't keysounding actually lower the game size? You still add all the same sounds the song has, but you can reuse the repeating samples.

Where the chordjacks of nightmare at?

Also i'm hoping they don't continue the tradition of equpment having bonus to gameplay, i wasn't particularly fond of Candy note and NB ranger frame in TR but i had to because it was bis.

SO Fudging hyped for this game. i gonna attempt to buy it. i'm alrighty getting Superbeat Xonic lets see what Neowiz Do without their music game team. then again new talent means there's a real good chance to make something bigger one can hope

Hm... It came out already... And I see FEFEMZ and CSM already played it.
Ok, here's what I thought about the whole game.

It's MAXIMUM enjoyment! The songlist is legendary, some of the new songs are pretty awesome, the mission mode is killer and the online mode is amazing. My top 5 new songs are Only for you, Killer Bee, Don't Die, glory day, and Ruti'n Remix.

There will be more content like Portable 3 and Technika 3, right?

as far as I know Portable 3 and technika will be DLC.

I'm gonna wait a few months to see if the US version comes out around the same time the Japanese version does (or at least an official announcement, since the DJMAX facebook sorta teased it I think?); if it doesn't, then I guess I'm importing the Asian version.

Until then, I'm gonna be super jelly of people playing the game. XP

It's sad there's not much discussion on this game. I've had a total blast playing it so far, and there's a LOT of song variety.

Probably because we've yet to hear about the North American/European release dates we've been promised. :/ I'm sure once we get an official release, more people will talk about it.

Well judging by Japan's release not coming till November, we most likely will not see a western and euro release till early next year at best. It's just easy to enjoy it now and just use a HK account to download the DLC when it comes out. I picked it up a few weeks ago and my god this game is worth it in spades, and then some. This whole game, down to the redrawn and upscaled old BGAs to the gorgeous smooth interface, to the core and challenging gameplay we love, is a perfect love letter to all the fans of the portable series, and this is a dream come true for those, including myself, that wanted a home console HD port of DJMAX Portable. 10/10 for me. But it bothers me that Neowiz is neglecting fans outside Asia and making us wait for a proper release here and giving us no choice but to import it.

IMO the Megatonic Mixes were absolute garbage. They weren't even new mixes they just upped the tempo and pitch and called it a new mix, that's stupid, unoriginal and just filled the void of a lack of more new content in Trilogy, that's like me just upping the tempo on a song and calling it a new mix, stupid. They didn't change anything about them, not even the charts, and they were not unique enough or worth unlocking in trilogy(Considering how hard the missions were to unlock them, I was severely disappointed). No, we don't need them lol and from the announcement, they're not coming back.

Great! Because 2 megatonic mixes are indeed garbage, and so filler...
