Answering some questions:


Yes and no. The main reason that I'm no forking that theme is because it has a fixed resolution and aspect ratio, I will use some things from that theme, but is better to create a standard version to avoid multiple versions of a same theme.


Nope, I haven't tried any Build newer than 5.0.9.

Taking back to the action

I've initialized the repository for the coders that will like start playing with the metrics about the judgement graphics, I have to redrawn later, the graphic posted here is too small, and is not doubleres about the fonts related, I have to find the system fonts I am using Impact for a similar font in the select music header, but is not the same shapes, have a little variation.

For some updates about the graphics, I've finished to draw the radar base, the category item, the timer bg, the score bg, and I'm still drawing the gameplay header I'll be a lot busy these days, but I have a lot of resources to draw, I'll try to draw in priority the slect music and gameplay screens, are the most used/viewed during normal gameplay.

For such early work this is already coming out quite nicely! Keep up the good work! I hope coding the new song selection layout and options is not too much of a hassle. Good luck on that

hey just some info, copying the entire fallback theme and editing it is pretty much overal a bad idea becasue when a new version of sm5 comes out it will break compatibility, its better to just make a empty metrics file and add

then copy stuff from fallback to your new theme that you want to edit/need to edit, what you have now is pretty much a huge theme with a ton of info thats just duplicates of already existing files which you can just load using that line, just a heads up ;D
