hooky: If you're using stepmania, then make it easy on yourself. Use a C mod, then learn the stops when you feel comfortable.
I prefer not to use C mods myself, but if a song has too many irritating speed changes I'll use a C mod. Like Uranus, or Pluto, or Pluto Relinquish.

Yay, congrats. Bag is easier, if you mod the speed, and Sakura isn't any harder then Uranus, so try those too. But then go do Cartoon Heroes, or Dynamite Rave (the one in US Ex2 CS), and you'll see why Sakura got knocked down to 9, and Uranus will too.

I play songs around uranus' speed at 3x and that works really well for me, so I'd recommend that.

I AA'd Flowers Expert Doubles at home on two Afterburners (StepMania) for my first pad-doubles AA. First arcade doubles AA was My Summer Love, which I have gotten a 99.18 (4 greats) on since then. :3
On the (off-)topic of Uranus AAA, I really liked the custom Uranus chart better than the official one, and I AAA'd it about a week ago.

- Full perfect the last part of "Ska a go go", the 16th note drill sh** !!!
I was VERY surprised when i do that, because i know the song is shit and last time i play it i have lots of greats and good at the end. ( i didn't AAA it just 97% btw )
- Get 26,9% on Holic Heavy, and still pass the song
- Get 6 great on Your Rain Heavy, no mods no bar. ( i'm a bar player, and i always play with speed mods :p i suck without it. That's why i was pretty happy to get that score, even the song is easy to AA or AAA 'cause the beat and the steps are simple )

Well, I did "250bpm Jondi&Spesh mix" heavy (B), Pluto oni (C), and Max 300 heavy (C) last night. I was somewhat surprised, because I was still standing after each of those songs, instead of laid out flat like I used to be. Oddly though, I mostly feel like I did terrible because my scores were so low. :/
