I think its so funny how they do the whole graduation thing in the Japanese music industry. Its just code name for "Your contract is over."

Wow, it feels like they've replaced the original 150 Pokemon with the new ones.

It's a shame really, but I'm sure they can still churn out the awesome songs. They just won't be as classic, I guess. It must also be kind of awkward for Riyu to be the only one left with some newcomers. :3

That's because it is their culture or indirect speech. Anyone atudied about Japanese culture would have come across this topic and issue. It is common for them to say something indirectly. We really have to think and guess what they mean by what they say, and even Japanese themselves don't like it. However, it is traditional practice; therefore they can't do anything about it.
