pop'n music éclale (AC)

The method La Pistoria unlocked the songs was just BORING.

We need some cute events to spice things up a bit. Something like the Walker thing in Sunny Park.

SOUND VOLTEX FLOOR has been running a contest for pop'n music original songs.

I am feeling the salt from you guys. I am so used to the anime style now and Nyami and Mimi look nice in it. (Nyami sure got spunk!) (And songlist from last version is alright. Jade made it up for me.)

Erosion Mark is probably going to make my pants happy and play that song many times. :I

The overall theme is like a much fancier expansion of Rhythmin (especially the first two maps)...

The theme feels like Carnival 2.0 (and Carnival was a nice pop'n!) I hope it turns out amazing.

Still not feeling the anime style and the lack of genres really turns me off... but whatever...

Sort of excited for éclale, though they didn't fix one of my biggest nitpicks with Lapistoria: lack of genres :/

Wow. Anime-styled portraits (again) and song genres still removed... we're off to a great start, I see.

If once again all the new launch songs will be mediocre to me, I'm walking out from the pop'n franchise.

There are already 2 47s, one 48, one 49 at the very least (I didn't count the Floor songs). I am already excited for the new one. Flopstoria needs to go

The FLOOR songs add another two 47s (Reconsideration and El venenciador) and one more 48 (カラフルトイズ・ワンダーランド) to the count.

Other than the new 49, I think I'm looking forward to hearing Reconsideration the most because 1) it's by Toromaru and his stuff in SDVX has been consistently good IMO, and 2) it has SMOKE as the character so I'm expecting some ~*sick pianos*~ (for reference, he was the character for Ergosphere, Macuilxochitl and NINE PIECE)

I am not bugged by the lack of genre names. I imagine the genre names are either to dry or that its less work for the verbal creativity department. Plus I make up my own genre names if there are none anyway.

This maybe kinda off topic but is there a "proper way" to do staircases in pop'n? I just end flailing my hands all over the place in hopes I hit something

the proper way should be using the fingers but I tend to mash the buttons with my hands (eg. 123456789 like carnival EX I would mash the buttons with my whole left palm for 1234 and the right for 56789) . No wonder why I cannot break through tough 48 and above
