Any news as to whether this will be getting an overseas release anytime soon?

That sounds logical given the game has (strong) Madoka, Monogatari, and Steins;Gate tie-ins.

i guess that explains why round 1s aren't getting the game.
would've been nice to see even a slight interface change for a new major iteration of the game, unless this isn't a major iteration and is more like an append version, which i doubt
