Any luck in tracking any of these movies yet? Some of these have been driving me nuts trying to remaster and there are some I...just can't do.



I've spent numerous sessions in the past 3 years trying to figure out all of the wacky tricks with these movies or scouring the internet to see if they exist online (if not the full movies, only the textures like and . There are reused patterns, blatant algorithms, reused color palettes, systematic showcases of everything the original program used to make them could do (shapes, camera tracking, bones, metaballs, surfaces, gradient mapping, noise, pixels, particles, deforms, glow, polygons, animated textures, polar inversion, mirrors), and so much more. My work mostly paid off, I remade 52 of them successfully (including two entire DDRMAX2 licenses). But the other 32, I don't have (or have but suck). While (if I can get my animating spark back) I CAN make some of those, there are some that I just can't.

I can post a link to all of my HD "3DTextura" movies for other people to grab once the set is done. They work with the DDRMAX2 licenses and other songs that use them like AFRONOVA and END OF THE CENTURY. There are also custom ones I made to help understand how these movies work.

Impressive clips! Are you doing like a large set? Because that's what I usually look for when making these RM packs.


I don't mean to sound asshole-ish when I say this, but I really do not know what you are specifically looking for from me when it comes to remastering the DDRMAX random movies...



(I will continue working on the packs I was starting on a few weeks ago, but since the day after tomorrow is the last stretch of Senior Year it will take a bit longer than intended ^^; )
