There is an Asian release of pop'n music 1 that is entirely in English with all the Japanese songs removed.
They also removed TORU KAMIKAZE if I recall correctly? Post #22 · Posted at 2014-06-18 03:35:46pm 11 years ago

beatmania IIDX is the only of the older BEMANI series still running that has not had an official iOS/Android version yet.
pop'n rhythmin is technically not an iOS/Android version of pop'n music. It's its own game.

Due to it's worldwide popularity in the past, Dance Dance Revolution has the most games released and sold out of any BEMANI series.
Not sure how you figured that out, but Pop'n Music is about to release it's 54th game, and even if you count international releases of DDR as seperate games, it's still nowhere close.
Here's how many DDR games are listed...
http://zenius-i-vanisher.com/v5.2/games.php?seriesid=1
and here's how many pop n' music games they are.
http://zenius-i-vanisher.com/v5.2/games.php?seriesid=1#series:3
I know there's some more games for both of the series (most of them some downgraded handheld and plug and play games), but I brought these to prove my point.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong about this, but DanceEvolution is the only BEMANI game that first debuted as a console release.

I did some research and I believe you're correct NEMESetup.
Also, the GuitarFreaks/ drummania series was the first of the longer running BEMANI series to end console releases for Playstation 2.

Some Reflec Beat and BPM related facts for you.
Every song on Reflec Beat plus which credits SEIRYU runs at exactly 191BPM.
The song on RBplus with the highest consistent BPM is 量子の海のリントヴルム, running at 280BPM. LondonEVOLVED reaches 340BPM but that is only for part of the song.
The Ganbare Goemon 2 medley's 20BPM introduction section is the slowest section in any RBplus track. The lowest consistent BPM, meanwhile, is the license song Believe by Che'nelle (72BPM, if memory serves).
JOMANDA does reach 300BPM during the speed up but that is not mentioned in the BPM reading (90-195) for the song.

All SEIRYU songs run at 191 BPM except VOX UP.

What is up with that? It's as if he's making the same song over and over.
(waits for someone to comment on the irony of a Yoshitaka fan complaining about someone making the same song over and over)
2nd edit: VOX UP does run at 202BPM, the same speed as Crimson Mist and Dark Fall, which were both released in the SEIRYU pack in JBplus and RBplus.

It's a stylistic choice Ryu☆ made for that alias.

IIDX tricoro brought us ΕΛΠΙΣ (ELPIS) by dj TAKA, the 2nd style × 10th style boss song of LEGEND CROSS. Guess what? 2 times 10 is 20, the game number for tricoro.

What's was with the New York Recording marker on the IIDX arcade cabinets with all those little marker notes on the VEFX board? Was anything in the game actually recorded in a New York recording studio? Well obviously some of the BGA's were recorded in New York City, case in point Hitch Hiker 1, 2 and 19 November, but were any songs recorded there?

Icarus was "recorded" in Massachusetts, but that's one of the very, very few instances where anyone has bothered to mention the specifics of recording of the vocals. Pierce The Sky is the only other one I can think of.

^Actually, if you look closely at some DDR youtube videos, some singers actually comment on the videos which is pretty awesome...
Two I can think of...
Heather Twede - Racing With Time
Sarah-Jane Neild - Unbelievable (Sparky remix)

Of the BEMANI games that received home console releases, beatmaniaIIDX is the only one where the first CS release is not directly based on the first AC release.

The robot in the background of Telephone Operator is a male. You can tell by his robot penis.

Years before his official IIDX debut in Distorted, Seiya Murai composed a song under his World Sequence alias known as "Thousand Dragons" in English that appeared in the location test version of beatmania IIDX 8th style. While it never appeared in the final AC version or the CS version, a clear audio of it can be found in the link here on the right. http://youtu.be/yHy6GLjVg9Q

That was a hoax. The real song is named 湧水 by とおくできこえる デンシオン.
