But I think the songlist wouldn't be the same as GOLD (CS-Japan), since the other IIDX versions were not released in the US and some fans would like to see songs that were not included in BM US (PS2-2006), too.

Anyway, I can't wait to play with my BeForU song of all: Red Rocket Rising (and with all the IIDX GOLD new songs)

I'm hoping the CS exclusive songs are good. I have high hopes for them since all of the DistorteD CS songs were great. I especially wanna hear the kors k and Nekomata Master+ collaboration. That should be good.

Hehe, I've been trying my hardest not to think about this game, simply because of how anxious I would be if I were to think of it every day. It almost seems as if that counter only goes down by about 3 or 4 each week.

I have only played BeatMania IIDX (didn't see version, it was a slightly-corrupted Japanese import, I think "Lower World" was one of the corrupted ones a stickied poster nearby warned not to play) once in an arcade on vacation, so I'm pretty excited about getting to play this game at home. And I don't know anything about all these new songs people are foaming at the mouth over at being in the game, but they must be good. Those few incredible DDR songs I recognise are enough reason for me to get this game, haha.

Does anyone recommend I start out playing with 5 or 7 keys? And turntable auto-scratch or not? Because those options are all I know about IIDX, really, and I would like to start out playing with whatever setting would be most suitable ot a beginner. (I passed a few 3's on 5-key autoscratch when I played on that vacation)

Best thing to do is start all out, 7 keys with scratch because if you start with 5 key with autoscratch then add 2 keys and a scratch to that, it'll be like learning a whole new game again. IIDX's beginner mode usually isn't that bad, you should start there first rather than jumping into NORMAL difficulty straight away.
