Is there a way of run the DDR Extreme with the Texmod? I have "ripped" some textures from multiples games, but not sure if this would work with a Ps2 game
Ok, back to thing of TexMod, yes, Is possible to extract textures in Memory, I have downloaded a ISO of the DDR Extreme USA for PS2. And I have extracted some for example, my opinnion. This requires patience, because some textures are loaded as I can explain, to the same Hex Address.
Here are some examples of textures. I dont know if this helps in something.

As i said, If someone wanna try, needs a ISO of the Game, I used the PCSX2 Emulator and the Texmod.

sorry to go OT here, just wanted to know if the same can be done with Disney Channel Edition or even Mario Mix?

I'll go ahead and see what I can do for ripping.
If ripping doesn't turn out well, I'll be open for making the graphics from scratch.
EDIT: Got quite a few images in a couple minutes, also figured out how to fix the discolouration.

Disney Channel Edition is possible with PCSX2 and Texmod
Mario Mix is possible by using the Dump Textures feature in Dolphin Emu which is so much easier to use since it dumps every single texture that appears on the screen.
And yes. They're all in separate png files.

Gonna rip more stuff today and make some mock ups with the stuff I've ripped.
I'll post the pictures and zips with the files in them later.
Song Select Done.

Select Style mock is done.
I'll start separating all the elements later today so they can be used in the theme.

Waait... what's that TexMod you guys are talking about?
EDIT: hmm, interesting, you can choose which texture to rip. I prefer the Cheat Engine method though since, for example, ALL the headers are ripped at once instead of just the one from the current screen.

Sorry if this is rude or off-topic, but has there been any progress on this? This is honestly my favorite theme, it looks more unique than the typical Max-style theme, and I'm really looking forward to someone finally releasing it after about 10 years. If you guys are still busy with it, I apologize, I can wait, I'm just asking.

I'd make the theme myself but I have absolutely no knowledge on how theming works in Stepmania so if someone can do the coding, I'll do graphics

Currently working on re-ripping to .dds for better quality, I have the rest of the week off (sans new years) I'll get the select screen stuff done today and upload them.
Also I'll be recording some "HD" gameplay for references sometime next week.
EDIT:
There are a couple textures that are being cut off during ripping so if anyone with more experience could help out it would be great. I'll try and recreate the elements that are having trouble though.

Pardon the bump on this thread, but a member on the Aaron in Japan forums had posted about what may be the graphics format used for the PS2 titles - and where, in EX JP and the MAX2 US demo, some graphics (song wheel slot text images) are. I can dig it up even though there is very little useful info on it really... it's not much, but was enough to get me working on something that can hunt for, extract, and convert gfx from the PS2 titles... so hopefully, assuming the information is correct, yes we will be able to extract at least some gfx from the game with a lot more ease.

From what I know, it's TIM2

From what I know, it's TIM2
TIM2 may be a commonly used format in PS2 games, but I don't think it's the case at least with the images I've been finding, and trying to decode since those images don't have the common TIM2 format, and are uncompressed - all the pixel data is there, easy to edit quickly.
