I went to Vampire Castle, top floor. I used group-cast all with poison then spammed exterminate. With the growth egg you get 7-10k per battle and 700-900 JP each if you have the bonuses
Also, I got to Chapter 6 today. Play time: 53 hours. I'm so in love...

@toxxicice Thank you so much! May I ask what level you were when you did the dragons?

Sorry for the late reply, but I was around 80ish. If you need to grind before getting access to Vampire Castle, grind in Florem Garden/Withering Woods. The hardest part of the Dragon fights were trying to survive while also shooting out damage.
Progress: I'm on Chapter 7. The battles went from hard to even harder...

Wow, I must have been insane trying at 65 then.
I was able to take Jabberwock out, at least.
In Chapter 5 atm.

I felt that one was the one that gave me the most trouble, as my main damage attribute was the one it resisted >_<
I finished the game the other day. My thoughts: overall the game was very good. The music was superb, the battle system was near perfect, and the difficulty is just right (at least on normal) maybe a bit on the hard side. The story and characters were also very good, but I do think that chapters 5-8 could have been a bit less repetitive, but at least chapter 7 and 8 sidequests made up for it IMO. Contrary to many though I did like the whole "world loop" thing because I really enjoyed the battle system so fighting 23-24 bosses every time (48 basically in chapter 8) was really not that bad? And it worked within the story, despite how "forced" it is? you can literally just breeze through them anyway but god i love it
10/10, my favorite game of all time, lol. It's near perfect for me (with extremely minor complaints). If you enjoy JRPGS, I HIGHLY recommend picking up this game.
Now awaiting Bravely Second. Come onnnnnnnn

I didn't, but I just looked it up.
Wow.
So right now I'm taking my sweet ass time with this game because I'm at the point where I can grind (chapter 5).
I'm kinda curious as to what people do for straight up physical damage. I've got basically a setup with Ninja (for dual wield), two Falcon Knives, Precision, Hawkeye and Frenetic Fighting. I only have Hermes Sandals and know I can get Hermes Shoes to get it a bit better but I typically am doing extraordinary amounts of damage with it (21 to 22 hits without buffs, exceeding the 16 hit limit by quite a bit).

Anyone wanna use me? will add friend code as soon as my 3DS finishes charging soon
Hiryuu, try Ninja + Sword Magic with a salvemaker to induce elemental weaknesses, or Natural Talent with pretty much anything? I use freelancer with natural talent (I'm sure it could be better but this yielded the most P.ATK). Dark Knights can wreck most things too, using spiritmaster and adaptation. Precision is not needed unless you hit 32 hits every time, because I think it only increases damage when you hit 32? though I may be mistaken. Thief with bow is pretty good as well.
Right now, I'm having fun with cheesy builds to destroy all those dang Be Mine; White Foxes :s
EDIT: My FC is 3411-0496-8781, if anyone cares.

Got to Chapter 3 today. The boss guarding the water crystal was a total bitch, as was the boss fought to get the Red Mage.
This game is awesome by the way. I still need to add friends on it though

All abilities should now be open in my friend data. Feel free to use it as you see fit for Abililink.
Also, adding Hasten World to my setup with Stillness going last makes me practically invincible to 99% of the fights in this entire game.

I just finished the game. Badass, start to end. I don't think I'll play through it again, but it was really a good journey. Best JRPG I've played in years!

I finished false end here during chapter 6 and I'm in 8 now. I'm mostly taking my time nuking side bosses. I'll probably be done soon.
Just got the majority of the way through the boss rush this morning before I had to go to work...
UPDATE: Aaaaaand beat.
Nifty end.

I'm progressing slowly but surely through this game. Right now I'm struggling beating the 6 dragons before the vampire castle sidequest. Managed to get 4 down but the last two are gonna be tough since as far as I know, they aren't weak against anything.
I also try to beat Alternis every so often but he keeps decimating me with his Minus Strike.

If the Dark dragon is on that list, he's probably the worst.
BP Recovery (Red Mage) + someone with Greater Spirit Ward on a Spiritmaster being cast directly after it activates will help you out quite a bit.

Yep its the dark and light dragons.
I'm using Greater Spirit Ward as well as the Templars Rampart abilities. Been very useful so far.

Rampart works quite well, but for the most part you'll be wanting to deal with the problems that will arise when Dark-Weak and Light-Weak happen. Thankfully, BP Recovery is an easy way to fix the problem, since you get 2 BP for getting under either status. Just give that to everyone and cut loose.

Alright I still like this game but I'm getting kind of pissed off at how many times I have to keep fighting the same four bosses. Luckily I know that I'm on the fifth and final cycle but still...
BUMP
I'm stuck. And on the final chapter too.
The second form of Airy keeps pulverizing me.
