Depends what I go to.
When I play a Extreme machine @ some Bowling Alley, my friend's 1P arrow is "broken". But have to leave shortly, leaving the game unfinished and Game Over. XD
Another bowning alley, theres this Max2 machine. Hard to come by now. And the arrows on the 1P pad does not work. 2P was so-so. But it won't hold freeze arrows (so I used the No Freeze Option), and I have to STOMP on the arrows to work.
Thats the only time... XP
The rest of the machines i've done to still work perfectly. Even the Extreme games.

WORST
I went to watch a movie yesterday at the local theater and decided to play DDRSN after the movie. This was probably the worst experience I've had with a DDR machine. The machine is an upgraded Extreme cabinet, which doesn't appear to be maintained well. You have to stomp on the arrows for them to register on the left side. The right side pad doesn't even register when you step on the arrows, it randomly registers "when it feels like it". I think the arrows are stuck down and some of the sensors don't work.
I tried playing versus on the left pad to see what would happen and the right pad randomly steps even when no one is playing on it. Funny thing, it actually passed on beginner but on basic, difficult and expert it failed LOL Also noticed that most of the lights on the cabinet were burned out since the last time I played there. The banner is not lit, only one stage light works and the arrows don't light up when you step on them. The speaker LEDs still worked but thats cos they're LEDs instead of lamps (last longer). The speakers aren't that loud either.
BEST
There's a bowling alley that's closer to my house than the theater and it's the complete opposite. The pads are always in good shape, the screen doesn't have smudges and all the lights work. This is a popular DDR Extreme location--there's always a group of people playing there. Yet through all the beating, it still seems to work well all the time...and its the same cabinet as the movie theater only it's not upgraded to SN. The other arcade machines always seem to be clean & work well also.
