I hate to be "that guy," but I'm in need of a bit of help with one of the missions, "receive 3 gifts from friends" to be specific. It's been a few weeks since I reached this mission, and needless to say, I'm stuck on it...

Figured this would be the best place to ask, since everyone else is posting info for Kakao and all. Anyone willing to help me out?

so about the missions:
1. MAX COMBO 50을 돌파하여 3회 클리어
을 = combos you have to achieve.
회 = times you have to do it
in this case, you have to get 50 (or more) MAX COMBO three times.

MAX COMBO 500을 돌파하여 7회 클리어 means you have to get 500 (or more) MAX COMBO seven times.

2. 난이도 1의 패턴 3회 클리어 (중복 패턴 무방함)
의 = difficulty level that you have to play (it have to be exactly the level specified, can't be more or less)
회 = times you have to do it
in this case, you have to play level 1 song (yes, exact level 1) three times

난이도 10의 패턴 5회 클리어 (중복 패턴 무방함) means you have to play level 10 song five times

3. 오리지널 패턴 5회 클리어 (중복 패턴 무방함), 프리미엄 패턴 5회 클리어 (중복 패턴 무방함), and 시그니쳐 패턴 5회 클리어 (중복 패턴 무방함)

you have to play Original, Premium, and Signature difficulty 5 times each

4. 인게임 아이템 업그레이드※모든 아이템을 업그레이드하셨다면, 게임 플레이로 퀘스트를 완료할 수 있습니다.※
The last sentence means, "if you upgrade any of the properties items (Fever Plus, Anti Break, or Gauge Refill) -and play a song after upgrading-, you've fulfilled this task"

Hey Byte, I have your Kakao ID added and everything, and I'm at the friend list tab in which I can send items to my friends, and yet the checkmark box for your name is greyed out, meaning I can't click on it. I think that means that I already sent you something but you haven't opened it yet. I think you check your gifts by going to the second tab of the friend tab, which is the mail icon on the bottom left of the screen. Try it out, it's possible that one person can only send one gift at a time to one specific friend until that friend opens it, but I'm not entirely sure, seeing as how I've never received a gift thus far.

Well, I checked my gifts tab just now and didn't see anything. Maybe you have to wait a while for gifts to "delivered" or something like that.

I do know that the grayed out check mark means that you've already sent something, as well as the fact that you can only send one gift to each of your friends every 24 hours. At least, that's how it seems; I've sent gifts to people in the past, and had to wait about a day to send more, so I'm guessing that's how it works.

Also, added you and sent something your way, so let me know if anything shows up.

I do think there is a time gate on sending gifts to friends, and I'm also pretty sure you don't actually LOSE the gifts you send. For example, I sent 150 MAX points to plenty of people before, but I swear it seems I haven't lost any myself. Maybe it takes a while for it to process, but I don't think so.

Can anybody be adventurous and buy the green nucleus item next to the anti-break? I'm curious to see as to what it does, but I don't want to spent Q points on it just yet. Not unless I absolutely have to.

On a side note, if you look at the total score in leaderboards, there are two people with the same exact score in the top two spots, which probably means they both got perfect play in every song on every difficulty D:

So, it seems I can send stuff, but can't receive anything; That's not good...

I did go back and fiddle around with the settings in-game, turning a few things on here and there that were off. Chances are they probably won't have much to do with what's going on, but it's worth a shot to see if it'll help. Has the check mark changed at all?

Yes, you can purchase Q points from the in-app store, but it can be a bit complicated.

I don't know how it works for other countries, but you can use a US bank account to buy things. Just make sure that you have your card linked to a Korean iTunes account, and that the billing information is correct. (Sign into your Korean iTunes account on a PC for this.) The main things you want to look at are your card's number and security code, the expiration date, and your name.

Everything else, like the city, province, and postal code, can just be generic information (such as Province: Seoul, City: Seoul, Postal Code: 330-330, etc.).


In other news, I finally was able to receive a gift from Rekeah, so thank you!

I wasn't able to purchase song packs in the beginning, either, until I called Apple support and they helped me out. Don't worry, Apple doesn't care if you have a Korean account that has fake information in it. They don't care if you really live in a different country or anything like that, either. They just want to know that you are, in fact, the person who has authorized your credit card to be used in the Korean account.

EDIT: So I gave 150 MAX points to all my friends at 2pm today. Let's see how long it takes before those check-marks become clickable again.

So, I compiled a songlist of every song in the game, plus any more future songs click here pls kthx.

Apparently the 4 initial Q-exclusives got their own pack so you don't have to get the Complete Box, there's a completely new song called Festa Nova, and all song packs are staying 60Q. Individual songs are still 20Q each for some reason, though.

How do you add one as a friend in Technika Q, should I add them in Kakaotalk via Kakao ID?
If so, how can I add them thereafter as friends in Technika Q then?

Add them as friends on KakaoTalk; they'll automatically show up in Q after a few minutes. Make sure you restart the game first, though.
