I don't have an Apple TV, so I won't have the chance to actually play the game.

Ported by a company named Namazu Studios.

There's a lot of instruction screens on how to connect your iPhone to your Apple TV, including an advertisement begging you to convince your school that DDR Classroom Edition is a good idea.

The sad thing is that there are at least a dozen songs in this that deserve to be in 2013.

The thing is DDR isn't the one that has fallen. Konami is, and in a bottomless pit to boot!

You truly underestimate what really happens when the harsh reality kicks in that a producer/creator is actually the slave of the company they work under.

The producer can literally have an entire video game masterpiece planned out...but the one thing standing in the way of making that masterpiece a reality is the company itself.

What seems to be extremely clear from all this is that Konami flat-out refuses to work with Bemani in localization. Had they done this all along, none of these years of BS would have ever happened. Instead, Konami has decided that they wanted to do DDR their own way, putting the blame on DDR's decline by culture's standards...instead of themselves.

And the one time they actually try it's ignored for shiny UbiSoft waggle-dance bollocks.

Song packs are $2.99 each, and contain 25 songs. There's also a $29.99 song pack with 310 songs.

For comparison's sake: DDR S+ had 5-song packs for $2.99 each, 3-song packs for $1.99 each, and one 150-song pack for $64.99. Of course, DDR S+ had songs with actual stepcharts and good audio quality.

I think RB is the height of home Bemani. It's really arcade perfect, albeit scaled down a bit.


Can I also take this time out to say I haven't been sarcastic one single time in this thread. I love my AppleTV, I love apps designed around it, and when it comes down to it DDR really isn't that bad of a game. I played from 99-03, four years playing a game has to mean something.

I am A DanceDanceRevolution Fan and I confirm that I do In Fact have a Apple TV (i can Show you Picture) i do In Fact use Apple TV, i do care in fact... This not the Same Game, as Tap mania, (this is Not Danse Wars) you use Your feet Do dance instead of Your Finger do Dance. I am very Glad for Exercise, i love the New Songs, Soft Paw Ryu*, Happy in comment, air by DJ SIMON is not new But very good song, house Jam.

Why on earth then would you get excited for a game that has shitty audio quality and autogenerated charts?
