Understepped and Overstepped songs

I feel like some parts, not the whole chart, of Wings of an Angel are understepped.

Saturn [the beta chart was fine]

I could go on for a while here...

Overstepped:
Gold Rush
London Evolved , any of them [this could go for nearly any boss song with a chart tacked onto it]

I thought hard about this song and I concluded it's fine. It may be jump heavy but the worst offender of the R&B genre is easily "The Way You Move".

DXY!  -> I understand this was an old one, but it sounds like it could use a 14/15  right about now.

Silence (Airscape Remix) ?! Are you serious?

GTFO, that was a work of pure beauty.

GRADIUSIC CYBER (AMD-G5 MIX) was made to be "awkward timing hard" in 3rd Mix standards (where it CLEARLY succeeded!!), not raw-stamina hard. Don't forget, SSR (like 2nd Mix) forced 1x Flat, too. Incidentally, it's one of the funnest songs to edit charts for in it, too. You can do ANYTHING with those charts - streams, skips, jump sequences, rave-time steps, tropical-time steps; and it'll go with SOMETHING in that song.


EDIT: GOLD RUSH was perfect, too. I still cannot do a session of X2 and not play that song at least twice. That chart is SO win.


Rescue Me, I'll give you. But that's only because MEMORIES' chart sucked anyways. Once I lost my DDR EXTREME (PS2/NA) save data, I just left that song locked forever.

Now, ever snow on the other hand... I'm really GLAD they stuck with the original steps and just added the extra verse. If you look back at post-2010 Konami's track records on remakes (DYNAMITE RAVE /X2, Keep on movin', Celebrate Night, BRILLIANT 2U (vocal version)), I really must beg the question - do you REALLY want to see what they would do differently?

At this point, I think they just would've wrecked it.

And then there's DEAD END (GROOVE RADAR SPECIAL).

Dead End GRS is very under stepped and the arrow placement is just terrible. It could be much harder and flowing and still max out the groove radar in my opinion.

Thought that was the whole point of those things.
