For around two weeks, there was a strange smell in the hallway on my apartment. I thought of it of nothing, but my mom kept complaining to me when she got back from work about that strange smell. My brother told me other neighours were asking around as well, wondering what that smell was. As the days passed, the smell intensified. Today was especially bad; it smelt like something was worse than rotting (had to plug my noise as I passed the door). When I got back from work, I found out that the old person living right next to me died, and his decay was causing the smell...

So my advice is report any strange smells right away, so someone can despose the source of the smell so it won't smell worse...
