Song of the Week event added ! A new song will be announced every monday.

How exactly does Song of the Week work? Do you just have to clear the song to get the bonus EXP?

Whoever has the highest score gets the bonus XP.

Suggestion: What if every week or month every player uploads a pack of their favorite simfiles to share. That way we'll have new things to play and not go "gosh, I don't have that, sorry".

Maybe 5 songs each person?

Like I said earlier on the server, I'd be for it. It happens too often that people select songs and no one else has them, so we should start "synchronising" our Stepmania song lists.

Someone should make a simfile category for Stepmania Online. Each person who plays can upload songs, then we can download the pack and play it.

That's a pretty good way to do it. Should we make it so only, say 5 people tops have access to modifying the category itself though? To keep things neat and not let the category fill up with crappy simfiles..

So...Like if I wanted to send a file but I wasn't one of the moderators, I would send it to them and if it's good, they'd upload it?

Indeed. Something along the lines of that, or posting it in this thread until a server mod sees it and uploads it. Just an idea, to keep things in check.

Oh, and occasionally it'd be nice to have tournaments other than the song of the week bonus XP thing. Maybe tournaments every 2 weeks using handpicked songs from the Ziv SMO category?

Is their a way to see how much XP i have?

I agree there should be a special simfile category here so we just dl the pack and everyone should have the same songs. Though i need to get off my lazy ass and finish copying the songs from 3.9. Just a heads up 3.9 has all of the US CS DDR songs.
