The boss needs to notice that some people especially the bemani fans come for the games at the time not to drink and get drunk also i think 20 is a pretty responsible age. If i was there on that day and technika machine was off I would be very sad and how can you cheat in DDR the videos are there to help you not to cheat.

If those machines are yours, take them out. Start your own arcade with Blackjack and hookers and phat beats. If the manager thinks that he can easily AAA a song on heavy just by watching your videos. Challenge that cuntbag!

Also, about the staying after 9pm thing. It's both of your faults. Your fault because you stayed there and their fault because they didn't ID you

The thing is though, I never said that it wasn't my fault. I completely owned up to them and told them I knew the rules. The fact is though, they have rules set by the law as well and they failed to do their job properly. What if it was just some random guest that comes maybe once or twice a year and this happened? What if they drank? Then what?

The fact is if you tell me to leave or ID me, I am going to leave. That is all it really boils down to. I'm not one to argue and cause problems as long as everything is done right. I also learned some great things from how this business is run as a business management student. You can file Gameworks (Schaumburg) under "poorly managed and operated".

Also banning what is likely your biggest customer is probably not the brightest idea.

I've herd many stories about Gameworks being a ton of assholes but this one takes the cake. If you sell beer to a minor then that's the fault of the company for not checking for ID. If you knew that it's a 21+ place after nine, it might have been a good idea to leave. However what bugs me the most is you said that you messed up and it was a giant misunderstanding and they told you to fuck off. Also take away one of your most popular machines as a punishment, that's only shooting themselves in the foot.

Long story short, you should have left if it's 21+ after 9PM. However the way Gameworks responded to the problem was over the top. Also they should have carded you before they gave you the ok to stay. If Gameworks would have done that, none of this would have happen.

The Facebook page for the Technika machine has about 60 members on it. Sadly they probably love Technika too much to boycott and stop going. Maybe when Technika 3 International is released and Gameworks refuses to upgrade the machine (like I know they will) a boycott may be possible since no one will want to go anymore.

I don't go to arcades on a daily basis so none of this stuff happens to me really, but this would have to be some dick ass move from the manager's side as to how this situation was handled. I agree that Kon shouldn't have been in the area after the curfew but he did mention he voluntarily left when asked to leave, a mistake that could have been treated nicely and fairly for both parties. Except one party has a huge black cock up their ass and blows his tits all over the place like he is THE LAW.

The Gameworks in Tama (Before it became GameTime) was pretty good in both management and how things ran there, i was able to talk to some of the managers to get SN2 upgraded into their SN machine (with the help of destructo-bot) before it got shut down then re-opened as GameTime. Now i heard rumors that the SN2 got removed but i haven't been back to that place since...2010?

I really think you shouldn't take this issue to that local store, see if you can get the number or contact info to the main HQ and send your complaint there to THOSE managers. You have about 10+ members here to back you up on this (not including the other members in your area too) if you can get an e-mail address

Trust me. A few people tried to get the e-mail and phone number of HQ. We always get redirected to the manager and he refuses to give it out. My good friend had a good idea though. He said if one venue won't give it out to try and call another one. I haven't really done anything in regards to that and just don't/won't have the time until later this week. I don't know if anyone else has tried either.

Reading the story, it sounds to me like the group was fairy rowdy and that this was the straw that broke the camels back. Completely going from nothing other than what I read. Seems like a bad move over all though.

But in all honesty I am sort of fed up with gameworks and its staff atm. I don't even know if I care enough to honestly go through all of this just so I can play one game for two or three more weeks. If they got Technika 3 that would give me an incentive to actually go out of my way and get everything set up and make me want to go back.

This should be reported regardless. As I said I've seen Gameworks treat their customer base like sub-humans too and it won't stop until the brass knows that their paying customers won't stand for it.
