For me, it has to be L'amour Et La Liberte (I'm hoping I spelled that right) DDR version in CS DDR X2. In my opinion, they should have put the Darwin & DJ Silver Remix from SuperNOVA2 instead of the DDR version. Why i say that is because it still has yet to make an appearance in console DDR in North America, and I for one like it much better then the version that originally came out in Extreme.

Paranoia Max -Dirty Mix- (Club Ver 2) in DDR Max.
I never saw the point in using that version other than several other Club Ver songs were included.
The stranger part of that specific song is that the audio is the club mix ver 2, while the steps are from club mix ver 1.

(with none of the god ones. Why has nobody revived Gentle Stress or Luv to Me on American DDR? -_-)
LUV TO ME Disco Mix appeared in DDRULTRAMIX as an on-disc song

You guys are obviously missing the biggest perpetrator:
Paranoia Max -Dirty Mix- (Club Ver 2) in DDR Max.
I never saw the point in using that version other than several other Club Ver songs were included. Yeah, it had a cool blue/purple version of the banner, but the audio mix had a Club Ver vibe to it, which isn't necessarily good.

That's my favorite PANANOiA. It's mostly because of that cool Club Mix vibe, too.

I find it very odd how they added songs from Club version to Max USA.

All of the revival licenses on Extreme 2 may be random, but they contributed to what made that game so great.
Most of them were better than the new licenses.

How is random being defined here? As unexpected, or as crappy? I think, for instance, There You'll Be, or In the Heat of the Night, or Freckles was random in a really good way. And then you get revivals like the club songs in MAX and I'm For Real in EXTREME. People are giving really mixed responses to this, and I don't think all of them are necessarily appropriate.

I'm just going with the flow on this. It doesn't matter how you define Random but this is what this thread is all about. Random songs that got put onto another game or from a different game or ect. So in other words, anything goes. Speaking of that....
DDR X (JAP) / Paranoia Survivor, Paranoia Survivor Max, and Paranoia Respect.
Ok Japan is teasing us now.

MAX 300 on DDR 2010.
I am going to put this as the #1 most random revival of any DDR US CS game.Thank you DDR American Community for your blatant inputs of having songs that fit well with their respective game somehow end up within the locked songlist of DDR 2010.
I like the song, don't get me wrong but, out of a lot of songs that could have had a REALLY good potential of making this game as best as possible, they put a BOSS song from DDRMAX that...just doesn't fit right IMO. It just really doesn't, i would rather have had maybe DROP THE BOMB or Look To The Sky to fit well but MAX 300? -__-

I consider "random" revivals to be songs that weren't that popular.
So, Brilliant 2U or PARANOiA wouldn't be considered random, but songs like I'm For Real, I Feel... and So In Love reappearing on Extreme US = WTF?
The most recent random revival for me I think would be Oarfish on DDRII. I'm glad I didn't buy that as DLC for Universe 3

I was surprised to see Saint Goes Marching (Remix) on DDR Extreme, JAP, AC.
Oh and also its weird how they re-used Fascination ~Eternal Love Mix~ as a boss in Supernova 2 USA.

I was surprised to NOT see that in 5th Mix (AC), actually.
Oh, and speaking of: TEST MY BEST in EuroMIX 2.

How is a "revival" being defined now-a-days? A revival USED TO BE a songs repeat appearance in that particular region, not just a songs repeat appearance across the globe. For example, Sobakasu in SNUS wasn't a revival as it was the songs first US appearance, but Healing Vision and Matsuri Japan in MaxUS were repeats because they were on Konamix. Based on this definition, I've only actually seen a couple revivals posted in this thread, all the others are region specific first appearances of a song.
Anyway, the only revival I've found odd was On the Jazz in Extreme US. Don't get me wrong, On the Jazz is baller, and one of my favorite charts in the history of dancing games, but I'm also one of two people I know who enjoy it.

Make that 3.A revival that kinda stroke me as odd is Un Deux Trois. I mean, it has a very long life in DDR History. Such as: DDR Supernova 2 (JAP), DDR Extreme JP, DDR Festival, DDR Extreme 2, and DDR X2 USA
