Not a ripoff of PIU. If you were going to call it a ripoff, which it ISN'T, at least say it's a ripoff of Technomotion

It's a spinoff of the Bishi Bashi series, a series of competitive minigame collections. If you've ever played Point Blank or Police Trainer, imagine that with foot panels instead of light guns.Post #24 · Posted at 2011-11-02 09:33:33am 14 years ago

The way he makes it sound, it wasn't really a music game.

I might as well put a video, it was released on home consoles as Bishi Bashi Special 3.

Would anyone care to elaborate on Toy's March? That game has always baffled me.

Basically it's just a cymbal and a snare drum.
If you play alone, you play against CPU. Difficulty usually determined according to selected song's level.
All I know about it is that. Also, Toy's March 2 has MEI, Xepher and STARS in it. MEI and Xepher are the hardest song in it AFAIK.

BEMANI Crossovers on Toy's March series including Mei, Xepher, STARS, Pop'n Music Ron and Jet World. I also remember that Twin Bee ~Generation X~ is in it but only the title is different.Toy's March has 2 regular stages and one EXTRA STAGE. From my experiences, as long as you win in one of the two stages, you can get access to EXTRA STAGE. For song on EXTRA STAGE, you still choose music like regular stages.
The difficulty range spans from one star to five stars. There are only two difficulties which can be chosen by hitting drum (I forgot if you hit it twice or not). Hit cymbal to confirm.
Okay, so you will face the title of the song playing on the uppermost of the screen and two lanes resembling rainbows. Notes will come down to the marker. Blue note represents drum and yellow note represents cymbal. There's also a long line with multiple symbols in it. If it reaches the marker you will have to do drum/cymbal rolls. Getting more notes in cymbal/drum rolls helps you to win the stage. However, failing in getting more notes in a roll against other player or CPU leads to a combo break.
That's all I know.

I'm only bringing this up because there was nothing about it on the first page, but, were/are there any videos of MAMBO A GOGO up on YouTube/other video hosting site? I've read about it and it sounds like it could have been a really good series.
I don't know, man. I'm just curious. My apologies.
