Hardest 6, IMO, is Swing It actually, with all the high-speed crossovers (even if they're really short) It's more like a low-medium 7

I actually forgot about it. It's no harder than Secret Rendezvous though. The bursts there aren't as constant as they are in Secret Rendezvous but they're faster.

And we're talking about hard in context of a six. Even without the ending Drop the Bomb is a solid 7 imo. My Generation is another tricky 6, too.

In the DanceDanceRevolution DLC for PS3 and 360, Arrabiatta is upgraded to a 10, but even without it, SuperNOVA2's terrible step ratings skew my list -- I'd give PARANOiA HADES honors for hardest 9 AND hardest 8. I still haven't passed that stupid song on Trick mode even though I've passed Survivor, Respect, and all the pre-SuperNOVA Maxes on Maniac. Might just be a personal thing.

For older songs, hardest 9 is probably So Deep or Cartoon Heroes, and hardest 8 WAKA LAKA or Witch Doctor.

Secret Rendez-vous is the hardest 7 but a moddest one.
My Summer Love is a basic hard for a 9 footer.

These are hard because of slow speed and the fact you actually have to spread the speed just to hit them accurately enough. I struggle wiht this alot because I don't play DDR very much anymore. Since I play StepMania more now. Also I use these methods in a lot of my stepfiles when I use songs with slow BPM (80-120s).

I just FEELS hard because if you're not use to playing it alot, it will feel kind of like you're trying to run on air, I mean it's not overly hard but I always B-d the song anyway. Because sometimes my brain can process steps unless spread out. Thats why I said that.

My Summer Love is barely a 9. It's only the middle bit, and that's basically a 200bpm 8th stream.

Yeah, but people think one AAA is more valuable that another, so AAA'ing Bag with 0.25x is greater than AAA'ing it with 8x.

Yeah without speedmods My Summer Love could be a 9 (but IDK since I have no trouble with speed between 80-700) but with them it's like a 7 with all the ridiculously easy patterns.

I'm at a just-a-little-bit-above so-so level currently, so I'll have a lot of examples. >A>

I have a very hard time with William Tell Overture from MUSIC FIT. OTL I only managed to FC it once, and was too exhausted to do anything else. Even with a controller I can barely FC it. ._. Also from MUSIC FIT is Stairway Generation, the intro and outro are big clusters of notes a la the ending of What Will Come Of Me. To say nothing of Carmen Prelude, the ending is damn near impossible for me. Butterfly was also quite difficult for me, and when I have jumps on, It's A Small World and You Can Fly (Peter Pan) become hard, too, embarrassing as it is to admit.

OTL MUSIC FIT certainly had harder licenses than HP3. The only licenses in HP3 I had trouble with were So What and Detroit Rock City. On the KO side of HP3, La libertad is one big galloping nightmare. D8; La receta is just chaotic, and What Will Come Of Me is so difficult for me today that I find it hard to believe that I actually PFC'd it once a while back.

Any song with a beat below 110 is quite hard for me without speed mods. Like Heavens and the Earth from HP1, which I never FC'd, foot or controller. :< 99 Red Balloons and Love Shine are also quite hard for me.

Hardest 6 for me is Settin' The Scene from HP2, but that doesn't count since it's not really a 6 is it? OTL Also from HP2, Closer to my Heart is still a challenge. KYOKA-SUIGETSU-ROW is also still very difficult, I can't read it well at all, making me wish they used different arrow-skins for HP2 too. OTL Reach The Sky also gets my feet tangled a lot.

A Geisha's Dream (Ruffage Remix), Until The End, and Curry Up from HP4 are the most difficult for me. D8

Mario Mix was fairly easy, but not Bowser's Castle. OTL Rendezvous On Ice is also a hard one for me, and Step By Step remains a bit tricky for me.

Finally from DDR X, Flight Of The Phoenix, Saturn, Horatio, and Taj He Spitz are the hardest for me to do right. OTL

Back in the day of 4th mix when My Summer Love was new it was considered a 9 because it was impossible to read nearly, at the time anyway, now its like a high 7 more than anything.

Hardest 6 i think was Brilliant 2 U (I think it was a 6 on extreme)
Hardest 7 - D2R, no idea why people think long train running is hard its all in short bursts and is slow.
Hardest 8 - 3rd mix End of the century, Solo 2000 - Drop out, Post DDRMax Yozura no muko or witch doctor.
Hardest 9 - Cartoon Heroes
Hardest 9 CS Only - Max Period Difficult
Konoko is pretty damn harsh for a 9 but personally i think cartoon heroes took and kept the record for hardest 9 because it was just constant all the way through, konoko was hard in one section and thats about it.

What about New York Evolved and Crazy Love or did you not finish the game yet
