"Well." |
The venues of HP 1 and 2 were fun for me, and a good starting point. @A@; As it was my first DDR game, it was nice that there was tutorial songs to help out nooblets like me. OTL
I also love Street Master Mode from DDR X! It's very fun, and I love how the characters interact with each other. They found silly excuses to dance, but it's okay. Julio's missions were especially challenging, it's harder to get a C or B when you're TRYING to get it. OTL My only gripe with SMM was that I couldn't turn jumps off, or use a speed mod, but it's fine! It helped with the challenge I suppose.

I've never played DDR Extreme 2 but Dance Master Mode on Strike was bleh because of the horrible song list. . .
Never played SuperNOVA 1/2.
Mission Mode in Festival is brutal.
I would like to get to know X's more but I can't read the text (Japanese version).
My favorite has to be, well, it's not on a DDR game but Adventure Mode on pop'n music portable was simply brilliant. Its the perfect combination of intuitiveness and excitement. Since the vast majority of the songlist are locked, you unlocked something nice at a very frequent rate.

Dance Master Mode from EX2 remains my favorite both because I think it is the most creative and because it was the first DDR game I played so I was genuinely a beginner trying to work my way through it from bottom to top, while for other versions I got severely bored playing through the first half containing the beginner missions.
Street Master Mode was my least favorite by far. The cutscenes were stupid, the missions were easy and stupid, the songs were boring and they made you repeat the same few songs over and over. I never got to play the Saber Wing remix at home because I simply couldn't sit through the whole thing.

The missions in Universe 1 & 3 get stupid hard after a while (the one where you have to get 100% Marvelouses on Absolute's ending with Stealth and Dark is fun).

I never really cared for Dance Master Mode 'cuz I was way too lazy to do all the secret stuff.

In order:
Street Master Mode from DDR X
Stellar Master Mode from DDR SN
Mission Mode from DDR EX
Hyper Master Mode from DDR SN2
Dice Master Mode from DDR X2
Dance Master Mode from DDR EX2

Never played the Dance Master Mode in DDR EX2 but it sounds interesting.
My fav would be Stellar Master Mode in DDRSN. It's simple but worth the effort.
Next would be Street Master Mode in DDR X for character emphasis.
Least favorite would be Dice Master Mode in DDR X2. Gameplay is hassle.

The thing that makes EX2 not interesting for someone who plays in Expert is how it starts off in Beginner and Light.
To overcome this, you should learn to freestyle and goof around.

"Protecting The Emeralds And Gems" |
My favorite would have to be Dance Master Mode from DDR EX2. Even if the missions started out easy. For me, the song list was so good that it didn't bother me, i was acting like a fool. My LEAST favorite HAS to be Dice Master Mode. I could not get into it for the life of me. I played the same missions over and over again trying to level the characters up. It was a BIG hassle.
